My hope is that, with all the primary sources available at our fingertips, that we can engage in intelligent, substantive discussion of patristics texts.
Can we please try to stay away from debates that have been hashed over hundreds of times between Protestants, Catholics, and Orthodox over on the General Theology forum? I think Tonks said in the "welcome" thread that he hopes for more "serious" discussion here, and I wholeheartedly agree. I understand that some of the same topics may come up, but I would hope to see some good analysis of ECF writings instead of one-liner "proof-texting".
