Because it's not illegal to call for another holocaust in the US, even directly to Jewish students.

I'm worried our discussion is getting lengthenned due only to vague communication.

I personally think it's intentional. I think the Right wants to shut down all criticism of Israel using the force of the government. I can't think of another reason they keep misrepresenting and complaining about the protests and what "The Liberals" are or aren't saying about them.
