is piracy always a sin :( how about if the programs or games are old and are not distributed yet so you can not buy the original can i download old movies and games ? is ethically correct ?

And as far as artistic goes, I guess I might have to specify it being "purely artistic", and beyond that not really having much of a practical use, etc.

Which would be kind of be like intellectual property maybe, etc.

Anyway, what do you think is/are God's views on it, etc?

I will admit to you that I've had voices in my mind saying to me "You can or should write a book (about this)", etc, or "You could get published on this, and/or make a lot of money off of it/this", etc, and it was like a war or battle in my mind or in my head, and still is sometimes, etc.

But deep down something about even be tempted by it felt "off", or "wrong", and maybe I'm still trying to put my finger on it, etc?

Was it going to be my motivations or reasons that would have been wrong, or was it something else about it that felt wrong maybe? Like maybe all of it might have been or felt wrong maybe?

Needless to say, I'm still trying to figure it out, and am still working on it, etc, and that is part of the reason why I started this discussion/thread, etc.

It would be a lot of work, and I guess maybe I should get or be rewarded for that maybe, and it would also involve a lot of risk also, etc, I could waste a lot of time, energy, effort, resources, for absolutely nothing, etc, never ever get noticed/published, etc, and if the risk pays off, then I guess I maybe should also get rewarded for that maybe, etc?

But something about it still sometimes feels wrong, or still feels off to me sometimes maybe?

A Christian would have to look to the Bible, and think about how it applies to an issue that didnt exist in Biblical times.....right?
