Our politicians are so dumb. They are too busy trying to win elections instead of protecting our country. Why is this a problem we've been hacked before.

“Unfortunately, the technology underpinning our critical infrastructure is inherently insecure because of decades of software developers not being held liable for defective technology. That has led to incentives where features and speed to market have been prioritized against security, leading our nation vulnerable to cyber invasion. That has to stop,” Easterly said.

The FBI and Justice Department have previously stressed their focus on preventing malign campaigns by the Chinese government and hackers.

CNN has reported that in recent months, federal law enforcement has used a court order to allow the Justice Department to remove malicious code from, or otherwise protect hundreds of devices in the US that are at the center of the Chinese hacking campaign targeting sensitive US critical infrastructure. Nevertheless, the hackers are believed to be deeply entrenched in US infrastructure."

Do you all believe that this is a very real danger from those hackers, or not?
I know that I believe the threat and danger is very real.
I believe this is a very real danger because our government has known about how vulnerable our systems are and have done little to nothing to upgrade our national computers. Plus, we do not have nowhere near the amount of hackers that China does. And what makes this even more dangerous is that people hear about this and think these hackers are far far away over in China. Not true. They are right here in America hacking away at our systems. They are currently coming over the border to wage war with us. Biden does nothing about this which is why this situation is so dangerous.

A new report claims the fastest-growing group of illegal immigrants entering the United States along the southern border is from China, with roughly 37,000 Chinese nationals reportedly apprehended at the border last year alone.

According to data provided by the Department of Justice, 55% of Chinese immigrants were granted asylum in 2023, compared with 14% for immigrants of other nationalities. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, 60 Minutes cited U.S. Customs and Border Protection, claiming that 37,000 Chinese nationals were apprehended while illegally attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border last year.

According to CBS News, reporters recently witnessed large groups of Chinese migrants entering the United States through a 4-foot gap in border fencing near San Diego, California. Over a four-day period, CBS News witnessed roughly 600 illegal immigrants from around the world crossing through the 4-foot gap in the border fence, with a high percentage of the illegal immigrants coming from China.

The battle between ideologies is often painted as between freedom and tyranny. But it is also about unregulated capitalism versus planned economics. Unregulated capitalism is as flawed as communism cultivating greed and stupidity just as effectively. The perfect example is the defective software market. The company that buys this wants a low price because it only cares about its profit. So it rejects the 'unnecessary' security features and extra testing time required to develop a truly long-term solution. If you try to solve the problem by suing the developers you miss the heart of the problem in the greedy decision-makers who do not want to pay developers a fair wage or give them a fair price for their products. The result is a host of vulnerabilities that can be systematically exploited.

In the long term, the USA's way of doing business is not sustainable as it makes it strategically vulnerable in a potentially catastrophic way.
