No just one site, it said on it that Jesus is thought to have lived off a simple plant diet. But I don't know.

I can imagine Jesus being a vegetarian, but I'm not sure that He was.

Socrates, I'm almost positive that he wasn't a vegetarian. He wasn't a Pythagorean (followers of Pythagoras) - a well-known sect that was vegetarian. Both Pythagoras and Socrates believed in some form of reincarnation, so perhaps the mixup is explainable.

The late Linda McCartney, Anna Paquin (X-men's Rogue in the movie franchise), Thomas Dekker (John Conner in The Sarah Conner Chronicles tv show), Sara Gilbert (Darlene in tv's Roseanne). Julia Stiles used to be a vegetarian, but I don't know if she still is. Gandhi was a vegetarian, and I'm pretty sure the Buddha was, as well. There's a pretty large list of veggie celebs, if you search Google. Hah, I almost forgot Ringo Starr, and the late George Harrison.

I recently learned that both Nicola Tesla and Franz Kafka both became vegetarians. Tesla moved in that direction gradually in life, giving up eating fish later. Kafka became a vegetarian relatively earlier.
