Since DNA is not mentioned in Genesis, or anywhere else in the Bible, your question does not make any sense to me. Would you like to clarify?
It does seem as you hope to make some point based upon the answer. If that is the case it might be easier to answer if we knew in advance what the point was.

When in Genesis was there female DNA..
"Made in our likeness" is said by God(Moses) "male & female" Gen. 1:27.
We? have both genetics within us??? Male & female????
I'm not making any point, I'm asking a question with here on earth we can't answer. Unless you know otherwise???

Thanks for asking this question. You're right Adam (male sperm) can carry either an X or a Y chromosome:
  • Egg cells (ova) always carry an X chromosome.
  • Sperm cells can carry either an X or a Y chromosome.
"At fertilization, it's like a game of chance with the sperm. Whichever sperm fertilizes the egg determines the embryo's sex."

So, according to Genesis, God made Eve from Adam. A simplistic way of explaining it to ancient peoples.

Blessings

True. Not to get off-topic, but for centuries, societies throughout the world believed the woman was responsible for the sex of a child. At least part of the reason Henry VIII had 6 wives was to father a son who'd be his successor. His first born son with his first wife died when just a few weeks old. His only other legitimate son, Edward VI, was crowned at age 9, after Henry's death. And Edward died 6 years later, probably of tuberculosis.
