Crohns Disease

I am starting this thread to talk with people about crohns disease.You may ask why I am starting this thread.
well its simple, I have crohn's disease.
It is a hard disease to explain. and there are alot of other things that come along with haveing crohns disease.

I will post a site in this thread once I get enough posts in.

i know what you are or have gone through with this. I myself have ulcerative colitis, which is very similar to crohns. not a very fun experience is it? haha

I don't have crohn's, but my best friend from college does. I've seen enough of it to know it's not fun. My prayers are with you.

I am sorry to read you have this disease and you are so young...I have a history of GI problems...I can relate to your suffering.

I have a younger brother that has this as well and has suffered since he was about 4 years old.
He is 36.
He has had about 15 ft total of his intestines removed cause of the ulcerations and fistulas and stuff.
Had massive doses of corticosteroids over the years that did damage to his bones and stuff as well.
He started a course of a med called remicaid that I heard is a chemo type treatment. He had some success with it.
