I painted our new bedroom and bathroom.

Now it's just the tiling of the bathroom this week-end and we can move into the new room!!

Well...It lived up to all expectations we have around here. It seemed to be lovely and just before a barbecue, out of no where it peed down and didn't stop for a fair bit...typical how I watered the plants before hand isn't it! Why do stores shut on a BHM as well??? I mean, what is the point...They cause nothing but confusion and chaos. Rang a store up to find out the closing time, and got told it was 5, went down at 1 and they were shut because on a BHM they close at 12, which really did put icing on the cake for me...

I think the reason is that, quite unrealistically, the shop staff like to have bank holidays off just like you do. How thoughtless of them.

So, what was your bank holiday monday like?

Bloody awful. We lost by 200 runs...

that's what I was going to say, we in Scotland don't have bank holidays although the banks do close on English bank holidays, we have local holidays and the days they happen on is different all over the place

Exactly... Next weekend, I have friday and monday off work... local holiday!
