I've been as angry as anybody in the Christian church. But I want to be more like Jesus. I don't mean this at all in the self-righteous sense. I know what is in me.

I hope you can calm yourself in the Lord, and still reach out to the undeserving. Some you can shake off your shoes. Some will become your close friends.

Reminds me of the term "spiritual midgets"

[1Co 3:1-3 NET] 1 So, brothers and sisters, I could not speak to you as spiritual people, but instead as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ. 2 I fed you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready. In fact, you are still not ready, 3 for you are still influenced by the flesh. For since there is still jealousy and dissension among you, are you not influenced by the flesh and behaving like unregenerate people?

I can relate to the title, since I really don't have much or really any friends, and as I've gotten older I crave solitude.

I can understand being angry. Perhaps pray to God for guidance and he will lead you to a welcoming, faithful congregation.

I do not have many friends either, as a lot of people may be worldly, focus on themselves, or might be lukewarm, though I am not the judge.

2 Timothy 4:3 (ESV): "For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions."
