Jesus was considered a prodigy and at the age of 12 they were amazed at his understanding of the Bible. Luke must have spent a lot of time talking to Mary. Even there are things John does not tell us about her.
I don't care my friend. I don't need peoples traditions

Apostle Paul does acknowledge in his writings that there were times when he boasted in himself. He reflects on this aspect of his past behavior in several of his letters in the New Testament.

For instance, in 2 Corinthians 11:21, Paul writes:

"Whatever anyone else dares to boast of—I am speaking as a fool—I also dare to boast of that."

Here, Paul is essentially saying that if others boast about their accomplishments or qualities, he could boast even more. However, he later expresses that boasting in this way is foolish and not a reflection of true wisdom or humility.

I went through that after my divorce. If my wife did not love me than how could I learn how to love myself. Because we learn of the love that God and Jesus have for us and we try to become the person God created us to be. So we use our gifts, talents and abilities to bring praise, honor and glory to God.

It is difficult to love our enemy, it is difficult to love ourselves, it was difficult for me to forgive my wife. But with God all things are possible.
Politics make it impossible to love. And no one cares

Like I said we look forward to the 1,000 year reign of Christ. It is no secret that man makes a mess out of thing. If at all possible we try to pave the way for the Lord. ( Millennial Kingdom)

Education etc money, clothes are overrated, what christians need is faith, and be filled with God.
Money and education is actually the opposite of faith according to Paul. Not that education is evil but it needs to be humble while the lack of education needs to be exalted. Its the same with poverty and wealth. Poverty should be exalted not wealth. Weakness should be exalted not strength. Ugliness should exalted not beauty and vanity. We have things backwards. We don't however exalt foolishness in any case

1 Corinthians 12:20 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. 21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”

22 No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. 23 And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty,

24 but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, 25 that there should be no [h]schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.

26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

2 Corinthians 8:13 For I do not mean that others should be eased and you burdened; 14 but by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may supply their lack, that their abundance also may supply your lack—that there may be equality. 15 As it is written, “He who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack.”

I edited and added this scripture to my last reply so I'll post it again here so you don't misss it. It's about equality and having the exact same mind and judgment

I feel like people love America, Trump or Biden, and church, but not me. I don't even love myself. My only hope is that Jesus somehow loves me.
Dear Hope, perhaps you Have forgotten the words of Jesus (Mark 12-30-31);

and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.'

The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

No I haven't forgotten my friend. Paul was his own chief sinner and I'm sure that he didn't love that.

Friend, life is fleeting, but its brevity doesn't diminish its significance. Each moment holds the potential for growth, redemption, and the pursuit of a deeper understanding of oneself and the world around us. Remember, you are a cherished creation, imbued with divine purpose and infinite worth. Despite any struggles or self-doubt you may face, know that you are not alone on this journey. Embrace the hope found in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ, who offers a path of redemption and reconciliation with God. Let the assurance of His love guide you through the darkest of times, illuminating the way towards self-acceptance, healing, and a life filled with purpose and meaning.

Peace be upon you.

I suppose you mean: "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." Timothy 3:7 Education, money, clothing are neutral. Like a lot of things in life they can be used for good or for evil. Hopefully we are able to do more good than evil. We do our best to tip the scale in the direction God wants us to go.

It is actually the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil. There is a lot of gouging going on right now. Makes me wonder what they are using their money for if they have to gouge people to get it.

To be wealthy is to love money. To parade education instead of meekness of wisdom is to love pride I suppose

To be wealthy is to love money.
For a lot of people anything above poverty is wealth.

My dad was a doctor and he told a story about being busy with work so he hired a TV repair man to repair the TV. Back before transistors when all you had to do was replace a tube . The repair man charged him more than he was charging for house calls. I think that was $5 back then. He went back to the office the next day and raised his rates so he at least made the same as the repair man.

Jesus was clear about how our treasures are to be in Heaven.

"store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.… Matthew 6 20

" God has given riches and wealth to every man, and He has enabled him to enjoy them, to accept his lot, and to rejoice in his labor. This is a gift from God." Ecclesiastes 5

"I tell you, use worldly wealth to make friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, they will welcome you into eternal dwellings." Luke 16:9

Matthew 6:24
No one can serve two masters: Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

Jesus told him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me."

Tradition is catholic and protestant. I'm neither. Scribes wrote scripture but Jesus didn't like them very much. They loved debate
Don't know what that has to do with what I am saying but OK.

Paul and Jesus are clear. Wealth is not to enjoy but to share. You seem to take Ecclesiastes out of context. Much of this "wisdom" was actually folly as the Scripture said. Don't quote folly as wisdom.

The point of Ecclesiastes chaoter 5 is not to live in luxury and waste money but to share. Compare it to 2 Corinthians chapter 8, and Acts chapters 2 and and see how Godly people treat wealth.

Being wealthy errs from the faith and leads others to want wealth which errs from the faith. I don't care what your family did my friend and neither should you. We love them but they belong to God not us. We belong to God as well. We don't love people more than God. Or love money more than people
