People can have multiple identities. There is nothing in the Bible prohibiting people participating in politics, and given that sound governance can do alot of good in the world, Christians should engage in politics according to their vocation.

I don't see the church when I see politics. I see pride, bitterness, rivalry, division, pain, wounds, tears, fear and contention. American patriotism and politics are rubbish and a stumbling block.

I've never understood the indignity of marrying your faith to political systems or similar falsehoods. It's the behavior of simpletons who've never entered the fullness of truth. They've gnawed on the teat and nothing more and are best kept at arms length. These are the unfortunate fools who'll compromise others under the guise of righteousness and other misguided ideologies.

The Body of Christ is small. The sower's results were 1 out of 4. Most people you meet fall within the three and many sitting beside you on pews do as well. When you become a person after the Lord's own heart He exceeds your preferences and you see them in their proper guise.

There are those I have a burden for in the world but I'm not oblivious to their sin or contort my brain like a pretzel. I call the spade what it is and that's woefully lacking in Christian circles. Finding likeminded souls who are wise are serpents is refreshing. You spend less time arguing and more time collaborating and learning from one another. That's what I've done.

yep, the Romans killed him, but he also claimed in Acts after a Jewish mob had beat him that he was a Roman, to the Romans, before they inflicted more harm on him.
