Classes in some states may soon watch a fetal development video from a Pro-Life group

I dont trust these groups to not lie. So maybe their video is factually correct. But hopefully someone checks that out prior to putting it in classrooms.

Propaganda which has no place in the classroom.

It appears that complaints from the Right about the sexualization of children don't stem from an objection to their being sexualized, but that the sexualization isn't being conducted they way they want.

Except if it's a fetus, the video missed the first couple of months which seems like a deliberate omission.

Yeah, "pro-choice" can mean a lot of different things. Different women, different circumstances, different choices.

But no one is out there advocating for women to choose abortion.

it is around six weeks pregnant that the fetus is visible .... it can't be seen by ultrasound before then. How it gets from conception to visibility should be explained .... don't know if that is included or not ... regardless it's important information that should be available and seen.

Another part of that story was that along with the tax cuts, Trump's administration did away with charitable donations being tax-deductible. Donations to churches and Christian charities dropped like a rock.

But it encouragizes children to think of sexualism and the body parts best described with a redacted black bar! How is that not grooming? Why are these pro lifers so invested in getting children thinking about sexualism and body parts best described with a redacted black bar?

Why can't the fertilization, the development of a multicellular organism proceeded by cleavage, and the series of mitotic divisions whereby the enormous volume of egg cytoplasm is divided into numerous smaller, nucleated cells be taught by parents? The cleavage-stage cells called blastomeres are a sensitive topic best addressed by loving parents. The embryo and of the foetus during a viviparous animal's gestation with it's associate biological developments should hardly be left to strangers pushing an agenda.

At 6 weeks it's not a fetus. This information shouldn't be given to children if the terminology isn't correct.
