Hmmm all creatures with the breath of life died by flood.
I gave the bibles definition of the breath of life already.
Here is the English definition of breath, that is required for life to live:
" the air that goes into and out of your lungs."
Air is a mixture of several gases, water vapor, and some pollutants. It is made up of atoms and molecules. The gas molecules help the air to move.

I don't think you are saying the Bible is byjus.com.
So, I think you know that the Bible does not say the breath of life is air.
So, then, we agree the Bible does not say God breathed air.
Correct me if I am wrong.
Can you show where the breath of life is a soul?
I would not be able to do that, because i don't believe that, and never said it.
It might be best to ask the person you heard it from.
Whom did you hear say that?
That's what I was asking earlier.
I know it does not say God blew a soul into Adams nostrils/lungs.
Thank God.
Nostrils: They enable the entry and exit of air
and other gasses through the nasal cavities.
I have known several people that have stopped breathing,
but have never seen someone die in person. Have you?
I haven't seen anyone die in person. I'm glad I wasn't there when someone close to me died.
It was hurtful enough seeing them in a bad state.
Not sure what you are trying to say here.
Don't worry about it. I was actually thinking we had strayed from the topic.
So, I'm glad to see that someone took it back on track.
I was going to ask... So since you have life, and the word soul is defined as life in the Bible. Do you have a soul?
People have died, the paramedics blow fresh air
into the mouth or nostrils, then massage the heart
area to get oxygen rich blood to flow where needed.
With any luck, the heart starts pumping before damage is done.
Doctors clear the airway of a newborn baby,
then give them fresh oxygen/air in nose and mouth.
In the past, some give the child a pat on the behind
to help start a child that is not breathing yet.
The oxygen is already in their cells Semper.
Each person needs to have the air coming into their system sustained.
If not, the air is useless.
That's why I asked if you believe the process of breathing is sustained by the process of breathing.
Perhaps you would more believe a scientist than me, and I can understand that.
When the brain's supply of oxygen is reduced or eliminated, damage can set in very quickly.
www.livescience.com
The human brain is an immensely complex and fragile organ that depends on a constant supply of oxygenated blood. Without oxygen, the brain's cells, including the signal-sending neurons that enable us to think and feel, begin to die.
But exactly how long can the brain go without oxygen?
The answer to this question is not completely clear-cut, Dr. Danny Gonzalez, a vascular neurologist and assistant professor at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona, told Live Science by email.
The human brain requires more energy than any other organ in the body. Despite accounting for only 2% of the average adult's body weight, it uses about 20% of the oxygenated, fuel-filled blood pumped out by the heart, according to a 2021 review published in the journal Intensive Care Medicine.
Our brain needs this huge oxygen supply to maintain its delicate balance of electrolytes, minerals that carry an electric charge and are key for conducting electrical impulses in the nervous system.
Unless there is a way for the breathing process to get started,
and continue, you're looking at a lifeless body.
According to the Bible, if God takes away their breath / spirit, they expire.
If he gives the spirit, they live.
The breath of life is not just air, but life sustaining spirit.
If I recall correctly, you quoted Genesis 6:17 earlier.
Here is the Hebrew text:
ואני הנני מביא את־המבול מים על־הארץ לשחת כל־בשר אשר־בו רוח חיים מתחת השמים כל אשר־בארץ יגוע׃
You would notice the Hebrew word רוּחַ - ruach.
This is the same Hebrew word used in some of those verses I selected.
The breath of life, but the life is in the blood.
If a creature losses air from a flood,
or loses to much blood, they die.
God did not blow a soul into Adams lungs;
he became a soul/creature.
Genesis 2:7 (KJV)
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living soul.
I'm glad we agree on that.
After God formed man of the dust of the ground
God breathed The breath of life into Adam.
After that [once he had this breath of air] Adam [became]
a living breathing creature /soul.
Why did you change life to air?
It reads breath of life. Not breath of air. Does it not.
If you believe the breath of life is air, it would be more accurate for you to say, "
After that [once he had this [air] Adam [became] a living breathing creature /soul."
However, in agreement with the other texts, this breath of life is really spirit (ruach).
So, once Adam had this spirit, Adam became a living breathing creature - soul.
Is that not correct?
It does not say God blew a soul into Adam,
he [became] a living [air breathing] creature/soul.

"Nephesh (נֶ֫פֶשׁ nép̄eš) is a Biblical Hebrew word which occurs in the Hebrew Bible....
..." In
Genesis 2:7, the text is not that Adam was given
a nephesh but that Adam "became a living nephesh."
I hope you did not meet someone who disagreed with this. Did you?
"There is no term in English corresponding to nephesh"

Where in the bible does it say that The breath of life

Job 34:14, 15
14 If He should set His heart on it,
If He should gather to Himself His Spirit and His breath,
15 All flesh would perish together,
His Spirit and His breath, no soul mentioned here.
That's good you noticed that.
However, remember that your question was not, "Where in the Bible does it say the breath of life is the soul?". Otherwise, I would have answered, "Nowhere".
Your question was "Where in the bible does it say that The breath of life is more than just God given air for us to breath and survive?"
The answer is given there, in combination with the other texts
Psalm 104:29
29 You hide Your face, they are troubled;
You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.
God took away their breath by drowning them in a flood, they died.
God gives us air to breath, He can also take away the breath/air we breath.
Could you please tell me what's the Hebrew word, translated 'breath'?
Is this the same Hebrew word used at Genesis 2:7?
Can you explain to me why, please?
Please note Psalm 104:30
New Living Translation
When you give them your breath, life is created, and you renew the face of the earth.
English Standard Version
When you send forth your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the ground.
Berean Standard Bible
When You send Your Spirit, they are created, and You renew the face of the earth.
Your thoughts on this text, please. Thanks.
Ecclesiastes 12:7
7 Then the dust will return to the earth as it was,
And the spirit will return to God who gave it.
The "the spirit in man" not a soul here returns to God.
Nothing in verse about the breath of life or soul.
You said you never did study the spirit in man and animals, in Ecclesiastes 3:14, 15, so I don't expect you to know what the spirit in Ecclesiastes 12:7 is.
However, if you do think you know, please explain, and please note that the spirit in Ecclesiastes 12:7, is the same as that in Ecclesiastes 3:14, 15.
Isaiah 42:5
Thus says God the Lord,
Who created the heavens and stretched them out,
Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it,
God created the atmosphere/air for us creatures to breath.
Tehom Genesis 1:2 Darkness over the face of the deep So much debate over flat Earth, Sabbath, six day creation, young and old Earth. I think we pass right over an awesome concept here. The Deep. Waters? Yes. But more, ourselves, our existence, our lives and the mystery of it all. The...

And spirit to those who walk on it:
God Gives Breath to people, [And] a spirit to man.
This does not say the spirit in man was administered by breath.
The spirit in man is given to child in the womb.
Can you please show me where the Bible says the spirit in man is given to child in the womb.
Acts 17:25

Yes He created our bodies and gives us breath,
air to breath by creating our earth's atmosphere.
None of those verses you gave say The breath of life is more than
just God given precious air for us to breath and survive on to live.
Yes, we need air to breath, and thanks to our loving father, he made the biogeochemical cycles.
To get man off to benefiting from that cycle, more was needed than filling Adam's lungs with air.
The Bible tells us "You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust. When you send forth your Spirit, they are created..." Psalm 104:29, 30
Yes that would not be good.
I did not find anything that helps in you case about air.
see above
I don't have a case. What case is that though, because you keep saying God did not breath a soul into Adam, and I haven't said this. So what case, may i ask, are you contending with?
That's fine.

Story? Which book? If you mean theories, I understand.
I was just wondering why you believe these stories, and repeat them.
It sounds as though you really believe them to be factual.
