Just decided to change this post.

This is a reminder for our continuation of thankfulness toward God's gift of salvation to us, which was spoken of also since the times of old! :amen:

Romans 4:6-8

"just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works:

Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered;
Blessed is the man to whom the LORD shall not impute sin.":holy:

Saw this today and got a chuckle out of it.

We can also find it encouraging while smiling.

Matthew 5:11-13

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, --> :redcard:

and persecute you, --> :sayan:

and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. -->

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: --> :cheer:

for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. -->

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? --> :yellowcard:

it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. --> :destroyed:

Matthew 6:19-21

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

For a lot of people on this earth they will do first part of these bible verses. Everything they do is what can be done in the physical realm, and most things done will be done to gratify their own flesh. What matters most for many who live in this world is to build up their own lives as they want it, and what comes after is of no concern for them.

In the end nothing which they have done during their life will matter, as they will loose everything when they die. Only the things which are done for God and His Kingdom will last forever! Yet it isn't because of works that we are saved lest we should boast.

Ephesians 2:8-9

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast."

Although we do a lot for others out of love and because of our gratitude towards God. As well as a way to possibly fish more souls; Matthew 4:19

"And He saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."

Whilst most are more busy with this material world and the pleasures it can give them which are temporary, as Christians we are not meant to be this way. As we know this world will pass away, so we shouldn't be as busy with this as everyone else are.

It is a a good reminder as well as encouragement, as a lifetime on earth is very short compared to eternity which comes after. Depending on what each one chooses in their lives now;

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"

(Hebrews 9:27)

Mark 8:36

"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"

Stay blessed in Christ Jesus!

Only the things which are done for God and His Kingdom (and in His Power) will last forever! :amen:

1 Peter 4
10As good stewards of the manifold grace of God, each of you should use whatever gift he has received to serve one another. 11If anyone speaks, he should speak as one conveying the words of God. If anyone serves, he should serve with the strength God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

So true. Everything else which is done for ourselves, even though things which are done for others but not doing it with God in mind, will achieve nothing in the end!

It will bring you nothing but just waste, because to God it will count as nothing in His eyes! Only everything which is done for the sake of His salvation and for His glory ,will be worth a lot in God's eyes! :amen:

Luke 11:33

"No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a secret place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, that those who come in may see the light."

This reminds me of how we Christians become in this world. Whilst the world wants to exploit us and shame us, we will only shine stronger and clearer in our Lord Jesus Christ! In the world's eyes everything which is done to harm us, will always be used for something better by God. Look at Joseph! Whilst he was in prison he was forgotten by people and seen as a looser, and yet God used him to help a lot of people when he got out from there!

What is first meant as a way to destroy a Christian doesn't mean that it can't be used for something good in God, most will not think nor believe of this when it is happening, but we should always keep on trusting in God and knowing that anything we are going through, isn't too impossible for God to be used for His glory! Nothing is impossible for God!

Romans 8:28

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Matthew 19:26

"But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."

So we should be encouraged by God, and no matter how the world exploits us, we should keep on shining forth in Jesus Christ's light! As we cannot be kept hidden in this world! Yet we were also not meant to being kept hidden, as we are meant being salt and light in this world!

Matthew 5:13-16

"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot."

"You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

Now it is quite a long time ago I have been writing in here.

In truth; When you want to draw closer to Jesus Christ, it won't make life easier for you. Although, it should encourage us more than to discourage us. Our enemy will do everything to destroy what we have in Christ, we will be mocked for our faith and relationship to Him, we will be persecuted, tested, we will be hated, disliked, but it is also what Jesus Christ told us that would happen to us when we want to follow Him as well as to live for Him.

And still in all of this; We are also told to love our enemy as well as to pray for those who persecute us! And this can be hard! Yet, it isn't impossible to do. Not when we are in Christ Jesus! When we are in His love! True Christian believers will be known this way, yet they are not meant to compromise with their faith, nor to sugar-coat the gospel, nor any other part of God's Word! But when we stand in His Truth and in His Word, wanting to grow closer to Jesus Christ, as well as stronger faithed, we will become hated! Because the world which is also darkness, will not like this! The world hates Jesus Christ! And so we will too be hated, same way as Jesus was hated!

So when hardships come our way, when we are mocked and hated, we should rejoice! Not necessarily with a visible smile on our faces all the time, but with an inner joy and peace! Knowing that we are on the right track, and God is keeping us safe in Him, as well as working in our lives, to sanctify us, and making us ready for an eternity together with Him!

Much Love in Christ Jesus!

2 Thessalonians 3:5

"Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ."

This says a lot about us, as Christians. As we will remain in God's love, wanting to continue growing in it, as well as when we are patient during our times of trials, we become strenghtened with endurance.

Yet, having love from God, is truly very important. And it isn't the same as how the world views it.

There are stories about persecuted Christians who confused their enemies because they continued rejoicing and praising God, as well as showing them Christ's love.

It may not always be easy to outwardly smile nor rejoice in a physically way, but the joy one feels within as well as given peace from Jesus Christ, is what truly matters the most. That confident hope in one's salvation through Jesus Christ, which makes us already conquerors in this world, because Jesus Christ has already overcome the world when dying on the cross for us! And then rising up from the grave on the third day! No matter what we go through in trials in this world, we have already won through Christ. Our price and goal is given in Him, and when we endure until the end we will receive the crown of life!

So we should keep on being encouraged by this! Reminding ourselves and others, to keep on trusting in our Saviour, and keep on being faithful to Him with our faith and with our whole hearts and with all of our lives!

2 Timothy 2:11-13

This is a faithful saying:

For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him.

If we endure,
We shall also reign with Him.

If we deny Him,
He also will deny us.

If we are faithless,
He remains faithful;
He cannot deny Himself.

2 Timothy 2:19

Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity."

It can sometimes be frustrating experiencing those who we clearly see and know don't belong to the Lord, doing all type of Christian-like things, whilst we know their hearts and minds are far away from God.

But this last verse which I posted here, shows us that God knows who truly belong to Him. He knows who does everything in true devotion and love for Him, as well as who fears Him. As those who fear Him and love Him, will keep themselves away from what is bad.

So we should be reminded of this, that the Lord knows who are being true towards Him. And we should pray for those who don't know Him. Knowing Him and being known by Him is so important, because if He doesn't know us, He will tell us to depart from Him in The Day of Judgement! And that's an terrifying thought!

It is truly beautiful when you know you belong to Jesus Christ! And we are told to rejoice more about having our names written in the book of the Lamb, than when the demons are subject to us through Jesus Christ's Name!

Luke 10:20

Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

I am often reminded of those who do things which they try keeping secret, things which have evil intentions over it. Also through God's Word it is written about the evildoers who does things in darkness as well as wants it to be kept hidden.

Ecclesiastes 12:14

"For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil."

Now there are more verses than this one, but I think this one fits better in what I am sharing.

An example are murder cases where the murderer are never fully found nor known, Jack the ripper is one of these. There are guesses on who it could have been, but it is never certain.

What may seem impossible for people to know as well as getting revealed for people here on earth, will in the Day of Judgement be revealed by God. And this goes for everything which is done in the hidden.

I do find it comforting, knowing that everything done here on earth, which was kept hidden with bad in mind, will someday come out into the light. And will be judged.

Many who does evil thinks that what they take with them to the grave will never be known. But all will be judged by God, nothing will be hidden anymore on the Day of Judgement. And it will be dealt with righteously!

This is why we shouldn't have to worry about everything done towards us here on earth, as it will be dealt with in truth! We should keep our eyes on Jesus Christ, and we should indeed hope for everyone to repent and come to salvation! Also for our enemies! As Judgement Day will become a terrifying day for all of those who are lost! Whilst for all who are in and belong to Christ, it will be a Day of Great Joy!

We should wish for everyone to get saved, also wanting this for our enemies! Same way as Jesus Christ wanting to die for us, when we were all still sinners! He did this all out of His love for us, even offering us forgiveness when we didn't deserve this!

Luke 6:36

"Be compassionate just as your Father is compassionate."

It is much of the same as counting your blessings! Every day everyone are showered over with the mercies of God, whilst we still remain on earth.

Although many are bothered about what they don't have, as well as letting problems they see in front of them take their focus and let it worsen their day, we should learn being content in what we already have and in what we get! Being thankful at all times! When we do this, we will also manage seeing the blessings given to us during a day, as well as managing in keeping our joy in the Lord. And then we will also be filled up with His peace. :)

God keep on blessing you this day in Jesus Christ's Name, Amen!
