They were a big thing around 1980. A couple of them had over 1,000 members. One in Ann Arbor, Michigan had I believe 5,000. There were other, smaller ones. One of them hosted the annual Charismatic Renewal conferences in late May at Notre Dame. I went to 6 of them so obviously I was satisfied. And yet I have never heard any reference to them in decades.

Hi WondrousGnat,

By memory I answered your post a few months ago (however the system may have crashed) and you may not have received WA.

Nevertheless, here are some more if you have not discovered these by now;

I have been off line for several days.

Wow. That is quite a few. I believe a covenant community published New Covenant Magazine, now out of print. I still subscribe to Catholic magazines, two diocesan newspapers, watch EWTN and listen to Catholic radio. But it has been at least 10, maybe 20, years since I heard of them. Other than a group of Charismatic nuns in Prayer Town Texas I have heard nothing of them.

Thanks for the info
