Isn't Broadway wonderful? Personally, I think it is so much fun and I have been blessed to see two wonderful shows: 'Grease' and 'The Phantom of the Opera'. Which leads me to my question:
Last year I went with the my high school band and choir....I gradated from '08 in Phildlpha and we rode into Delaware to whatch this play. Its a good play....just long and at the end be ware of the gun shot...it scared allmost every choir and band kid there
I've seen Wicked and went to go see 39 Steps three weeks ago; they were both awesome, but I laughed so hard with 39 Steps. It's basically an Alfred Hitchcock-meets-Monty Python type comedy, and was absolutely hilarious! I've done some great Broadway plays in school and community theatre as well, and love it.
actually on broadway i've seen chicago (i was really in new york to sing at carnegie hall with my choir) in seattle i saw les miserables, and i've been in and seen many community theater shows
I haven't seen any on Broadway since I don't live in the US but I've seen some musicals live on stage both in Sweden and on the West End:
Official ones:
The Phantom of the Opera [2x]
Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat [2x]
The Sound of Music
Starlight Express
Beauty and the Beast
The King and I
Cyrano
Kristina från Duvemåla
I got an unexpected chance to see the traveling Broadway production of Wicked last month. It was amazing! I have always loved the music but seeing it in person was great.
