Four Ukrainian assault boats ‘destroyed’ in Kherson: Russian report​

Russian troops have destroyed four Ukrainian assault boats on the Dnipro River in the Kherson region during an overnight attack, the state news agency TASS quoted Governor Vladimir Saldo as saying.
“Over the past 24 hours, Dnepr Battlegroup units destroyed enemy watercraft on the Dnipro River at night. Specifically, they uncovered and eliminated four enemy boats with an assault force of up to 15 militants from the 35th and 37th marine infantry brigades,” Saldo wrote on Telegram.
He added that Russia’s Dnepr Battlegroup hit Ukraine’s 141st, 65th and 128th brigades and struck temporary deployment sites, military hardware and artillery positions of the Ukrainian army on the right bank of the Dnipro River.
He said soldiers had also successfully fought against reconnaissance and attack drones.
“The enemy’s total manpower losses over the past 24 hours amounted to 45 militants, and two military vehicles were destroyed,” Saldo said.

Russia’s military hit a warehouse with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the 113th Ukrainian Defense Brigade and destroyed the launcher of an American MIM-23 HAWK anti-aircraft missile system (SAM), the state-run TASS news agency cited the Russian Ministry of Defence as saying.
“Operational-tactical aviation, missile forces and artillery of groupings of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed a launcher of the MIM-23 HAWK anti-aircraft missile system made in the United States,” the ministry said.
The ministry added that forces hit a warehouse containing Ukraine’s forces’ manpower and military equipment.

We see the devastation of Russian missile attacks on Ukrainian apartments every day. Russian troops are on Ukrainian soil. There is convincing evidence or Russian atrocities wherever their troops have been driven back.

Russia has no legitimate business in Ukraine. What we are witnessing is naked aggression against a sovereign state.

No such person existed. In fact, Russia only lost 25 planes during that time, mostly from anti-aircraft fire.
3. Russians blew up the Nordstream pipeline
The Americans were very likely behind that act of terrorism, possibly with some cohorts
4. Russians blew up the Kakhovka dam
Why would they? The locks were on the Russian side, they could've flooded the place without blowing up the dam.
The flooding caused 86 deaths - on the Russian side.
5. Russian missiles hit Poland
Actually, it was Ukrainian missiles that hit Poland. Zelenski even wanted NATO to start WW III based on that lie!

Where do we start?

So instead of just telling what we actually know that happened, you just post the Russian version of events? We don't know if the Ukrainians surrendered after the first shot, that's the Russian claim. Which is a bit hard to take seriously as the island was captured after air and naval bombardment that leveled the infrastructure of the island. Hardly something that would need to happen if the defenders had surrendered after 1 shot.

2. The "Ghost of Kiev" shot down 40 Russian planes at the outset of the war.
No such person existed. In fact, Russia only lost 25 planes during that time, mostly from anti-aircraft fire.

Oh yeah, propaganda piece at the start of the war to keep up morale.

3. Russians blew up the Nordstream pipeline

Now this isn't a fairytale as you claim, as no one has really gone beyond accusations on this. Russia blowing it up would make sense, with some of their ships also in the area at the time and their ability to send something down the pipe as well. Simple thing is that you claiming its the Americans is unfounded. We don't know for sure who did it. Russians did have the capability and the motivation to do so. Americans, no real motivation to do anything to it at that point.

Now this case was clearly caused by the Russians, it was physically impossible for anyone elsse to have done it. The explosion came from inside the dam and only Russians at that time would have been able to get inside there. The destruction itself was most likely unintended, but Russia was the blame for it. They simply effed up. So not a good example, actually a horrible example as it shows the exact opposite.

5. Russian missiles hit Poland
Actually, it was Ukrainian missiles that hit Poland. Zelenski even wanted NATO to start WW III based on that lie!

And the list goes on...

Russian missiles have gone through Polish airspace a few times already. And this one case is where it was an S-300 that tried to intercept a Russian missile and failed to self destruct. Both sides were using them and of course both sides are going to blame the other for that kind of an "oopsie".

You complain about "quoting" Zelensky without checking, yet a good amount of your claims here are also Putin's claims without you checking them out.
So... You're exactly the same.

There were documented incidents of Russian reservists fighting with shovels during battles in trenches and fortified position in late 2022 and again in early 2023. This was totally unsurprising to anyone familiar with Russian CQB and hand-to-hand doctrine, or the state of Russian logistics at the time. The edged entrenching spade, in various guises, has been a staple of the Russian infantryman since the 1860s.

When it came to ammunition, Russian reservists were getting the short end of the stick when it came to supply. This was particularly true when it came to tube artillery ammunition (122mm, 152mm and various mortar calibers) and armour support. Some units were supplementing artillery support with indirect fires from a combo of HMGs, RPGs and 30mm AGLs.

The story that "The Russians are out of ammo and are fighting with shovels they were fighting with shovels" is a mis-representation of what was reported. I suspect a deliberate one, probably to invert what were legitimate criticism from Russian reservists on social media (Telegram, Signal etc etc) that they were being ordered to take Ukrainian positions with small arms and hand weapons alone, and without any other support.

Again, totally unsurprising to anyone that was familiar with the small unit tactics that Russian forces were relying on to sustain advances in late 2022/early 2023.
