Childish screed? Did you actually read it? It sounded like well thought out and tempered; it didn't sound unhinged or inept at all. If someone attacks you and misquotes you to make you seem like a bad person there are far worse words one can use and I thought it was quite levelheaded and to the point. I don't understand why there's such a dog pile on the man.

If you think that sounds well thought out and tempered, you might want to start reading more challenging material. I'd be embarrassed to write a work email like that.

There's some truth to that. I'd have to dig up the research, but my understanding is that the public's response to politician's misdeeds is largely dependent on how remorseful the politician is. If the politician acts like it was a big deal, then the public dogpiles on them; but if the politician blows it off, then so do the people.

Anybody who thinks our voting system is running the way it should be spending all their time watching cartoons. I am not concern with who has been the most crooked, I just want something done to stop it. Our voting system needs to be improved so that every legal American living with the right to vote can vote and it count, but only once. We need to have rules for the voting, and it should apply equally to every voting location. If there is something we want from Congress or anyone else, it should be clearly stated and apply to them all. Regardless of who is president, or who has the majority in congress, the rules should apply evenly to them all.
