We love you Lord Jesus Christ and we thank you because you have redeemed the world with your most precious blood.​

Almighty God, your Son did not enter joy before he suffered pain. He was not glorified before he was crucified. Help us always to walk in the way of the cross, so that our pain will end in joy, and our defeat will end in victory, knowing that Jesus does not expect us to endure anything that he himself has not endured. Through Jesus Christ your Son, our Lord. Amen.

O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, Have mercy upon us sinners.
