While the Revolutionary War WAS wrong and a sin it had to happen and it was part of God's perfect eternal plan. Why? Well for one, it happened and therefore it was part of God's plan. That's the simplest explanation but it goes deeper. We are taught in scripture that every position of power God put there. That means even Donald Trump (God help us) became President because God put him there. So every President, Judge, Police officer, Monarch ..etc was placed there by God.
Without the American Revolution these places of power would have never existed. Presidents would be non existent and the world's most sinful nation (let's admit it. We're probably the country that deserves the most judgement by God and I'm not even counting the hundreds of millions of babies that we've slaughtered.) So let's no longer argue about the Revolutionary War and about how wrong or right it was for the Colonists to disobey their King. It was wrong and evil but it was a crucial part of God ultimate plan.
