I don't know why but giant gum (eucalyptus) trees always feel very alien to me. It makes me feel like I'm looking at a relic of the pre-flood world. But then again it could just be Australia, as the wildlife and whole place in general makes you feel like you're living on another planet sometimes lol.

See I'm nearly 99% sure this caterpillar came from an asteroid . Don't google our spiders, they will make you cry. As an arachnophobic living in Aus it makes me squeamish knowing that there's a spider somewhere living rent free in our house, like the criminal he is, and also very likely gazing down on me as I write this.

See I'm nearly 99% sure this caterpillar came from an asteroid . Don't google our spiders, they will make you cry. I’ve been seeing a lot of those lamb cakes this Easter- I don’t remember seeing them in previous years. Now I want a mold like that!! So cute!

And wow- those trails are beautiful! I could lose myself in those woods for a long while.
