I got a call today after saying my name this man said when i put in for a loan i mentioned i had a credit card balance of $3,000. Is this correct? I said no, That's not correct. I'm sure this isn't the correct wording but the jist of it . He then hung up. I couldn't help thinking i had just given him some info i shouldn't have . I shouldn't have confirmed anything. The number was 1-209-406-4902. BEWARE

My own personal rule of thumb is to simply not answer the phone
(or door) if it's someone I don't know.

Of course, I'm somewhat reclusive outside of work (work drains my
social battery, lol!), so the chances that the call/visit is from someone
I know is relatively small!
