Peace in Christ.

As stated often before, the kingdom/government of God is within us. It does not come with “observation”…..the observing of outwardly written handwritings of ordinances (graven images).

Luke 17:20-21 KJV
(20) And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
(21) Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

The Lord has put His laws into our hearts and in our minds. This is the only “writing” that matters now. This is His government now within us….and our “constitution” (so-to-speak) is that “writing” of His within our hearts.

Heb 10:16
(16) This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
(17) And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

We now have freedom from all of the handwritings of men (their “graven images”) that they engrave to govern and judge themselves with.

We are “dead with Christ” from the rudiments (the founding principles as contained in the governmental documents of the world). We are free from man’s governments and are now in the government/kingdom of God. We are citizens of Heaven's government now in this earth....the ONLY government in Heaven (kingdom of Heaven) is God's government. The governments of men shall eventually become His government (the good news of the kingdom).

Col 2:20 KJV
(20) Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,

We, as His people, must not forget that covenant of the LORD our God (our JUDGE) which He has made with us and make for ourselves a “graven image”….a church handwriting of ordinances to keep and serve rather than keeping His commandments that are written in our hearts.
Why go and make ourselves subject to man-based church organizations who are built upon their handwritings of ordinances (church constitutions, by-laws, statements of faith, etc)?

They govern and JUDGE themselves with their handwritings rather than let God govern and judge them. The builders of man-based churches build in vain.

Deu 4:23-24 KJV
(23) Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee.

The LORD our God (JUDGE) is a consuming fire....even a jealous God (JUDGE).

(24) For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.

Beware of any man who wants you to attend his “church” where they are serving the handwriting of church ordinances which are patterned after the “rudiments” of the world…after their governing documents. They do not follow after Christ who is the true Head of all principality and power.

Col 2:8-10 KJV
(8) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
(9) For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
(10) And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Many have fallen victim to these fleshly-minded men…but thanks be to God, we are forgiven for our sins and all of those “trespasses”.

Col 2:13-18 KJV
(13) And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

He takes the church handwritings out of our way…spoiling the “principalities and powers” over us. They have been used to keep us in their bondage. They had “power” over us that we have willing subjected to. They are taken out of the way and are nailed to His cross….we are forgiven.

(14) Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
(15) And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Fleshly-minded men have wanted to be teachers of the Law and have incorporated external commandments of the Law (without any understanding of what they affirm) for you to keep and serve. And if you do not do them, they judge you. They are using their handwritings to judge (elohim = gods =judges). They are "other gods"...other judges...that are used rather than worshipping the true Judge (God).

Their handwritings are only “images” of the Law itself as the external works of the Law are “shadows of things to come”. They are shadows of things in Heaven.

(16) Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
(17) Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ
.
(18) Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

We have been scattered among the denominational churches among the outside nations who rule over us (when we should be ruling over them) where we are serving other “gods” (the church handwritings that serve as judges of us).

But these “gods” are the work of men’s hands….outward church handwritings of ordinances/dogmas. They have no life in them….they neither see, nor hear nor eat nor smell. They are empty and useless for anything.

Deu 4:
(27) And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you.
(28) And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smel
l.

But we are forgiven for our sins and trespasses in Christ. The LORD our GOD (that is, JUDGE) is a merciful God (JUDGE).

(29) But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

The church is in “tribulation” today because of the handwritings and all of these things have come upon us in these LATTER DAYS. If we should turn to Him and shall be obedient (that is, to HEAR) His voice even in the LATTER DAYS, He will not forsake us nor destroy us nor forget His covenant. This still applies to us today.

(30) When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;
(31) (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.

The “letter” …that is, the WRITING…kills but the Spirit gives life.

2Co 3:6-7 KJV
(6) Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

The Law was written and engraved in stones. Church handwritings of ordinances are just pale, incomplete images of the Law (which Moses patterned after the things of Heaven) made by fleshly-minded men’s hands who desire to teachers of the Law and do not know what they talking about.

(7) But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

The “graven image”….the church handwriting of ordinances…are made in the likeness of things in Heaven (such as the external regulations of the Law of Moses that was patterned after the things in Heaven....shadows of things to come).

Exo 20:4-6 KJV
(4) Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
(5) Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
(6) And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

The “image” ….the church handwriting of ordinances…are what people use to “kill” (JUDGE) others with. Any who do not worship the image should be “killed”. The writing kills. This is serving of the sin….becoming servants of the sin. Satan and his ministers have deceived people into serving the sin in their churches via the worshipping of the handwritings of men...and they mortally perish because of this deception.

The "image" is the "abomination of desolation". The wound by a sword that was healed is the removing of the "daily" sacrifice of our Lord Jesus...the Lamb-slain. We are to die to the sin....mortifying it through the sword of the Spirit.

Rev 13:14-15 KJV
(14) And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
(15) And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

We must not eat of that “tree”….wood/timber. We “shall surely die”….that is literally, “dying, we die”….or “killing, we die”. When we judge others via the handwritings of ordinances, we are being judge, jury and executioner of them…”killing” them.

Gen 2:16-17 KJV
(16) And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

(17) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Young's Literal Translation
and of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou dost not eat of it, for in the day of thine eating of it -- dying thou dost die.'

The woman added a commandment to God’s (“neither shall you touch it”).

Gen 3:2-5
(2) And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
(3) But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
(4) And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

Wanting to be seen as wise, she became a judge of others based on an added carnal commandment ("neither shall you touch it"). “You shall be as gods”…that is, JUDGES supposedly for God (“For God does know…). A judge knows what or who is “good and evil” as written in the law of man’s handwritings.

(5) For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods (JUDGES), knowing good and evil.

The woman in the garden added a commandment: “neither shall you touch it”. This is why Paul stated (touch not…). We perish with the using of them (the handwriting of ordinances: written commandments and doctrines of men). We use them to JUDGE others with….”killing” them. When we “kill” others, we shall die.

Col 2:20-22 KJV
(20) Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
(21) (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
(22) Which all are to perish with the using) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

Whosoever “kills” (judges) you thinks that they are doing God “service”. They have fallen for the deception of the original lie.

Joh 16:2 KJV
(2) They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

But there is now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit who makes us free from the law of the sin and the death as commanded by God to Adam in Genesis. He nails the handwriting to His cross....we in these latter days are forgiven for these things if we HEAR and turn back to Him.

Rom 8:1-2 KJV
(1) There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
(2) For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death

Hey, just as an aside, more folks are now starting use the NIV or ESV to quote scriptures. :) It is okay to use the KJV, but some younger folks prefer the NIV or ESV. I prefer the latter.

Hey, just as an aside, more folks are now starting use the NIV or ESV to quote scriptures. :) It is okay to use the KJV, but some younger folks prefer the NIV or ESV. I prefer the latter.

Unfortunately, the profound meaning is lost with those translations...

Luke 17:21 (New International Version)
nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.

Luke 17:21 (English Standard Version)

nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.

Instead of being 'within' the Kingdom of God becomes something on the outside which is contradictory to Scripture in my opinion.

@orbiter is able to see how the verse relates to the very Word of God within...

The Lord has put His laws into our hearts and in our minds. This is the only “writing” that matters now. This is His government now within us….and our “constitution” (so-to-speak) is that “writing” of His within our hearts.

The Seed is the Word...

Matthew 13:31
"Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field"

The Kingdom of God is about the Holy Ghost 'within' that quickens the Word...

Romans 14:17
"For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."

Hey, thanks for the quick rundown. I now see that the NIV and ESV failed to translate "within" properly. But hey, God lives both in us and everywhere as Christians.
