Proverbs 1

Heavenly Father,

I heed the discipline of my father and do not abandon the teaching of my mother;

The discipline of my father and the teaching of my mother will be a garland to grace my head, a medal of Honor for my neck.

Amen


Heavenly Father,

if sinners entice me, I don’t go along with them.

I don’t set foot on the sinners’ path.

Amen

Proverbs 2


Loving Father in Heaven,

I will receive Your words and store Your commands inside me,

paying attention to Your wisdom

inclining my mind toward Your understanding.

Yes, I will call for insight

and raise my voice to discernment,

I seek Your commands as I would for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure — then I understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.

Proverbs 3

Father of love,
Abba Father
I don’t forget Your teaching,
I keep Your commands in my heart;
For Your teaching and commands will add to me many days, years of life and peace.

I do not let grace and truth leave me —- I bind grace and truth around my neck;
I write grace and truth on the tablet of my heart.
Then I will win favor and esteem in the sight of God and of people. Amen

I don’t despise the Lord’s discipline or resent His reproof;
For Adonai corrects me whom He loves like a father who delights in his son or daughter.
Amen

I don’t let common sense and discretion slip from my sight;
I preserve common sense and discretion.
Common sense and discretion will be life for my being and grace for my neck.
Then I walk my way securely, without hurting my foot.
When I lie down,
I will not be afraid;
when I lie down, my sleep will be sweet.
