At first, I thought a friend opened the door to wake me up, but everyone was asleep. The door latch itself was strong. I think a spirit was trying to intimidate me maybe.

Wow!! I'd not heard of it before. Interesting. Just my own experience. The people who have hosted me have been the most wonderful people, but they and many of the people in Japan are held to the bondage of appeasing the demons. They call them gods. But the budatsun that is used is supposed to be for the ancestors. Japan is a culture that respects their ancestors and their elders. I can respect that but it's unfortunate the deception.

usually have a dream or two each night, however, the ones where God has a message for me, can be months a part. Those ones I wake up remembering vividly, and am even able to start discerning them right away. For regular dreams, I usually forget as soon as a I wake up.

Mine can be vivid quite often. It's interesting when I gave up caffeine for a month and a half that my dreams were not as vivid, and once I started drinking caffeine again they came back. It also could be food

After the dream, I realized the word was about some pride in her, which she keeps bringing along when at our church service.

That's quite some dream. And interesting about the parallel between and reality.

Had visions last night as I was laying in my bed, was about to go to sleep but decided to connect with god through prayer.

And sometimes when I do pray it feels just like a meditative state and not a connection and other times I do feel that I connect. Usally it feels like something is working through me, and it may push discomfort aside. Like yesterday night I had abit of discomfort in my body, that I really didn't take much note of was there and I was observing with my eyes closed how something were working through my body and pushing the discomfort aside.

Now I was fully awake but for sure I had a religous moment laying there and all of a sudden I had my first vision, and I really loved the first vision that I had and once it disappeared I was hoping for it to come back.

I was high on a hillside and I could see the landscape going up and down and I was right in what you would call a field and there was no trace of civilization in sight. There was other people in that field with me and surrounding the field you had forest. The plant of the field had been sickled down and had been collected by us into these bunches laying on the field. But mind you the vision was very brief, just a moment and that moment was of us looking up on the sky that were very dark and gloomy.

Now it didn't take much time untill I had my second vision of something completely different and it was really the first and second vision that stood out to me, but the theme here for sure was gloomy, every vision was.

The second vision actually had me open my eyes because it was quite frightning, I was underwater and depth wasnt defined but it was dark murky waters. And in a distance something were emerging from the depths and it was absolutely massive and I saw the head of this thing and it were that of a man and I could only see the contours of it's body but it covered my whole peripheral vision. I don't know how to describe the face in a way that would make it justice but if you imagined a very deprived man in his 40s with a emaciated face and the eyes were more dead than alive. But the size of this thing were radiating power.

After that I had visions of being in a cave and in other type of landscapes but them all were very gloomy but nothing special were happening in them.

I think either way it’d be foolish to dismiss them outright. You’re doing it right asking questions about them. I do not have the particular answer. Keep doing what you’re doing & you’ll get an answer. I know that much.

Thank-you DragonFox91 for your thoughtful response. I agree, these dreams raise interesting questions. The Bible is replete with visions/dreams. Many of which are an answer or a navigational point either spiritually or physically. I am in much prayer about this. Perhaps the Lord will grant wisdom.

In my experience, I only start getting more nightmares when I'm getting fearful of dying and also think my life is being threatened. Also when I'm getting fearful of poverty.

When I have genuinely got over these fears, the nightmares lessen and the nightmares that persist, I am able to reverse the situation during the dream. The dream turns from nightmare into a dream.

Finally, fasting is a huge help to repel nightmares and evil spirits altogether. Coincidentally, indulging in food may increase occurrences of nightmares and encounters with evil spirits.

Jesus and His disciples and the Jews of their time traditionally fasted in different days each week.

Thank you all so very much for your valuable insights and encouragement. I want to share that the night before last in a nightmare I had kind of "repulse beams" that came out of my hands. Weird I know. When I pushed the hideous creature back, it crumpled up and shrank as I receded. Last night I didn’t have a nightmare. Thanks be to God!

Thanks. In the last two weeks, I've been eating less and also increased my fasting hours (no food and no water).

A foul smell came from me at some point and I stopped having nightmares.

The nightmares were of mundane nature like waiting in a long line. It's ridiculous.

Otherwise, if I see a monster or a ghost, I would either cast it out or talk to it instinctively and things end well. But the devil is smart and stops sending me monsters and ghosts anymore and just giving me stressful dreams. It has stopped since with more fasting.

I had a dream of a beautiful mansion. It was in a beautiful part of town too. I had never seen a building so beautiful. It’s not how I imagine the mansion Jesus talks about tho.

I had a weird and somewhat pleasant dream last night but woke up tired after the dream.

Me and several people were traveling in some sort of invisible craft. It seemed like we time traveled in the past and it looked like the 90's. We were flying aboard the invisible craft.

We approached an airliner. The airliner somehow broke in half. Our craft approached even closer and stopped right next to the plane. Time somehow seemed to stop. Me and some of the people with me hopped inside the plane and looked around like it was some exhibit. It felt haunting to step into a plane that's about to crash.

Some time later, we were back in the future in a futuristic-looking car that was really big (it's the size of a full-sized pickup truck) and the people I was with before had dinner in a fast food restaurant not yet existing today. It had interesting concept and name and I forgot the details

I don't think I'll want to travel back in time to witness historic disasters if given the opportunity if the technology becomes available. I'll only ever do it to investigate unsolved crimes/disasters. Otherwise, it feels like stepping on somebody's grave with disrespect.

Time travel is already possible. There's portals around the planet that allow you to enter another dimension. But the act is illegitimate and has serious consequences. We were assigned a specific plane with requisite restrictions and protections. When you transgress that you forgo them both and anything is possible.

We're living souls. That's like a floodlight in another realm. You'll draw everything to you. That's why you hear horror stories about astral travel and needing to return to their body before the entity beats them there. The likelihood of bringing something back is strong. The probability of possession is great.

I read a series a couple of years ago that featured the subject. It was fiction but the author didn't address it under its usual guise. It was too detailed in some respects and my spirit felt the same and a foreboding arose. I sensed a deeper truth and knew enough to understand there was more behind the author's words. The Lord dropped something in my spirit to confirm my suspicions that I was able to verify.

They've been showing you this in movies for years. If you know who runs Hollywood you'll understand. I won't reference real places but I'll note a film most have seen. There's a scene in the Harry Potter movie The Order of Phoenix. They're in the ministry of magic and there's a large arch with voices emanating from it. That's a portal and the voices aren't human (in the natural). They're disembodied spirits.

These dark spirits portrayed in horror films are empowered by fear. For sure, they get more powerful the more you fear them and that sounds scary indeed. But if you have nothing to fear then you have power over them and they will avoid you.

One way to lose fear of them is to lose fear of death. Like you don't have an ounce of care about your own mortality. Maybe even leaning towards embracing death under the intense curiosity of what is out there.

Jesus taught about NOT valuing our own lives (mortality) in the Bible and it could well determine our eternal fate. Ironically, if you truly believe it, in my case, I stopped having these sleep paralysis. I even stopped having nightmares. I still sometimes see dark entities in my dreams and while I'm awake and alone but they're now keeping distance from me. They can't draw near anymore like they used to.

I've never had sleep paralysis nor do entities inhabit my space because it isn't welcoming and they don't have the right to do so. There are occasions when I'm interceding when they'll show up. But it isn't often and is less about me than what the individual has gotten into they want to maintain.

I have no idea and so far haven't notice an increase in activity and I often practice figure skating in the lowest basement parking of our building and we have funeral parlors right next to our building. It is dark, I'm completely alone. If you're looking to scare yourself, it's the best place to be in the building but haven't seen any increase. Most of my dreams have been pleasant this year and last year.

Fasting (a form of self-denial), praying, and "carrying your cross" (suffering). Or sharing in the suffering of other Christians. I'm beginning to think that suffering may include self-inflicted forms of suffering like vigorous exercising. It's helping to improve things in my life concerning spirituality or probably because it enhances the experience of fasting.

Gateways differ for each. What tempts one doesn't affect the next. I can watch Harry Potter and LOTR for entertainment purposes and decode them while I do. I'm not oblivious to the source. Nor do I view Tolkien in the manner most believers do. I've read my share of things that influenced his writings. As for horror films, it's a different energy and darker too. That's why I don't watch them.

LOTR looks closely based to our world before the Flood. The Nephilims, the Giants. These are discussed in far greater detail in the Book of Enoch. It's not just giants but fallen angels sharing the knowledge of magic, martial arts, crafting weapons and armor, and the art of warfare.

It's fiction or video games coming to life but happening in the distant past. I think the more powerful disembodied spirits came from these giants.
