We have a son 23 and a daughter 20 who would like to find like-minded Christians for marriage. Since we live in a rural area and most churches seem to be going in a liberal direction, I thought I would ask if there were any other Christian parents that might have a desire to make family to family connections.
100 years ago most people lived in neighborhoods where families knew each other and grew up together. Parents would speculate about potential matches long before the children grew to have those interests. The children would often be guided towards approved matches and away from disapproved ones.
Today young adults often are on their own without the resources and wisdom of those that love them the most. If any Christian parents also would like to explore attempting to recapture some of the more traditional ways for their kids, send me a PM and perhaps we can make connections.
