• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Hey an idea- if you are diagnosed with schizophrenia you might want to try this. There is word on the internet that megadoses of B vitamins are effective for schizophrenia, specifically vitamins B6 & B12. I have tried these and they work great, they greatly reduce my symptoms and are harmless, just vitamins. You can find them in the grocery store or on Amazon, I would highly recommend trying these!

I have been taking sublingual vitamin B12 for several days now, you put it underneath your tongue and it dissolves and goes directly into your blood stream, this works great, I can feel it take effect within like 2 minutes! It makes me feel better!

Hey I have been experimenting with large doses of B vitamins, I have tried them all, they all work great! I have tried B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7, B8, B9, and B12, all have a strong effect, no side effects! Vitamin B3 (niacinamide, flush-free niacin) probably works the best of them all, I am on an antipsychotic clozapine and it helps almost as much as meds! B vitamins are completely harmless, you may want to try these!

Good find. That is what regular licensed doctors used before drugmakers got control.
Remember when? Back when at least some of them "first of all do no harm" was truth.
