Here's another odd coincidence. I just showed the family "Reservoir Dogs" on Sunday, and that was made in 1992. We took special note of the year too. I told the kid, "We're going to watch a really old movie. It was made in the 1900s". He laughed, and just assuming I was exaggerating replied, "Ha, well, not really".

I said, "Yes, really. 1992 is the 1900s." Then I told the wife about that exchange and she said, "Ha, the early 1900s even". :doh: I see where my kid learned how to tell time. I said, "No, honey, it was the early 90s, not the early 1900s".

.....maybe you should follow that movie up with another one, perhaps an end of the 90's decade film like "Entrapment." I'm sure they'll enjoy viewing another angle on the whole 'heist thang' there ...... ^_^

...yes, it is interesting how perceptions of time are relative, particularly when any of us (our kids in this case) reflect back upon cultural products of the not so-distance past.
