Another federal appeals court has rejected President Biden’s attempt to move forward with his student debt relief plan while lawsuits over the program inch toward the Supreme Court.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit refused late Wednesday to lift a ruling from a Texas court that struck down the policy as illegal.

Supreme Court to hear challenge to Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan in February

The Supreme Court announced Thursday it will hear a legal challenge to President Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan early next year.

The high court left an injunction in place halting the program, but the justices set arguments on the matter for February.

The challenge was led by a group of red states, with the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals siding with them last month against Mr. Biden’s plan to forgive millions of borrowers.

The election is over the votes were purchased with an empty promise, Biden never had the power and he had to have known it.

Interesting that SCOTUS took the case. Normally they would just leave a lower court ruling if they felt it was correct. I wonder what aspect of this they are looking to clarify?

I'm really glad we are back to not helping American middle class citizens. That money should be going into the pockets of shareholders.
I'm glad that the money is staying in my pocket, instead of footing the bill for someone else's education.

I have it on good authority your SPECIFIC tax dollars were used to manage groundhogs in the Sierra Nevada.

I hope that makes you feel a bit better about how your tax dollars are spent.

Does it REALLY grinds your gears that your tax dollars are used to pay for some poor person's cancer treatment too?

Bidenomics is driving up prices at the grocery store. Is this part of Biden's plan to feed Americans who are struggling to eat?

Nope, but that's not paying off a student loan, for someone who is capable of finding a high paying job.

Man! Biden's nefarious evil ways are also driving up prices in MY grocery store here in Canada too?!!!!! I can't believe I didn't vote for Trump this election. Then the global economic system would grind to a halt.

1) You don't know that
2) "high paying jobs".....So you don't know what's happenning to salaries for master's and PhD holders do you?

Those poor ignorant Master's and PhD holders. If only they had dropped out of school and taken a part time job at Walmart; so that they could live the good life.

That's not the least of it. Because the world is dependent on the U.S. for food; many in the world are going hungry.

There are plenty of jobs for people holding master's where they're getting paid sub 50Gs (even sub 40gs).
You think they're going to pay off a student loan with rent SKYrocketing and making THAT little money? Pfffft. Crazy town, that.

Uh...not according to reality:
US Commits to Humanitarian Food Aid as Global Food Security Deteriorates
Doesn't sound like your government is going to let them go hungry.

It's too bad the widely touted free market allows so many to have food security issues in the US.
How can the world's richest country have such a POOR food security environment?

Regardless, nothing in my post OR in your post that I replied to, alludes whatsoever to the fact that inflation is a global issue not simply "Bidenomics".

Well I guess they'll need to buck up and be fiscally responsible, and find a lower rent apartment, until Biden's inflation has them making 40K per hour. Then thwey should have no difficulty paying off their old debt.

Puting the burden on the backs of those less fortunate is not the answer, simply because those who are better educated won't stoop to live in the slums with the less fortunate.

Most people who know anything at all about economics, understand that the world economy is hinged on the U.S. dollar.

Reality check:

How many people are hungry in the world in 2022?

2022: a year of unprecedented hunger

As many as 828 million people go to bed hungry every night, the number of those facing acute food insecurity has soared – from 135 million to 345 million – since 2019. A total of 50 million people in 45 countries are teetering on the edge of famine.
