No, they sail around three continents' caps, as shown in the map, it takes around 45,000 kilometers and the record is 74 days. That proves Antarctica is exactly as shown on the map.

And btw, you can watch them "online" with GPS tracking, during the sail. On the flat earth, the route would be much longer.
