It wasn't just Muslim Palestinians that elected Hamas. Hamas also had the support of many Christians and they wouldn't have been able to win as many seats as the did without that Christian support.

Nonsense.

There are possibly 1000 so called "Christians" in this area.

You notice that Hamas is "Islamic"?
The dont allow "Christianity".....they allow MUSLIM, ISLAM, as these are Quran Fanatics.
There is no freedom of religion within "Hamas" or "Islam".

Who are you trying to kid @JosephZ .

There is only "we will convert the INFIDEL to Islam on the edge of our Sword, unless they convert willingly".

See that?
That is ISLAM, its not a religion of Peace.

Prior to the rise of Hamas in the 1990s; in the 1970s and 1980s, it was terrorist groups founded and led by Christians that carried out most of the attacks against Israel and Israeli interests; The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP). These terrorist groups remain active today and the DFLP's militant wing, the National Resistance Brigades, participated in the October 7th terrorist attack on Israel.
It wasn't just Muslim Palestinians and Christian Palestinians but Israeli support for Hamas.

Sorry some of these are paywalled.

Israel actually tried to stop Hamas from being elected.

And one of the real issues is that George Bush Jr, didn't try to prevent Hamas from being on the LIST.
That was a mistake, as His goal of creating the Middle East into a Democracy, while at the same time not trying to derail Hamas from being Elected, was remarkably stupid.

The Good news is...

The IDF is going to destroy Hamas, and that is one ARM of IRAN that will be prevented from Killing more Jews and Americans and anything else who isn't Islamic.

At least 10 injured, some seriously, in Hamas rocket barrage fired from Rafah area.

In the last few hours (5-5-2024) Hamas has again fired rockets against Israel.
These are those who are in RAFAH area, (Lebanon) and are more then likely the last of Hamas who escaped and ended up there.
They will all be killed, unless they surrender.

You lose all credibility when you write things like this. To put "Christians" in scare quotes like that and specify 'so-called' when writing about Christian communities from the Holy Land itself is the height of arrogance, ignorance, and malice. You're done.

If Hamas doesn't allow Christianity, how do you explain there being a Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and Baptist church in Gaza? How do you explain Christians being able to worship in these churches and openly celebrate Christian holidays like Christmas?

Christian and Muslim Palestinians are in solidarity for the most part when it comes to their struggle with Israel. The conflict between Palestinians and the Israeli government is about land rights and injustice, not religion.

Baptist pastor Hanna Massad speaks openly about what he sees happening as he helps to shelter Gaza’s Christians and others during the current conflict.

A Jew killing a Palestinian or Palestinian killing a Jew are symptoms of the problem. The root of the problem is the Israeli occupation of Gaza... as long as this occupation continues, there will not really be a solution.

In 1948, the state of Israel was founded, and more than 700,000 Palestinians became refugees, and 50,000 to 55,000 of them were Christian. They scattered around the world, some to Gaza and the West Bank. They went to Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria. Many still live in very difficult circumstances.

Sometimes my brothers in the West say, “This land is promised to the Jewish people; get over it.” But I would say, what would you do for the people who lost their homes and land in 1948? We have official documents to prove our ownership of the 17 acres my father’s family lost. If we talk about a God of justice and love, how to explain this to the Palestinians who lost their homes and land to Israel?

Amos 5:24 says, “But let justice roll down like river and righteousness like a never-failing stream.” And Micah 6:8: “He has showed you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord required of you to act justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”

How should you extend this love to these Palestinians Muslims and Christians who lost their land? You cannot just say that God gave the land to the Jewish people. To love the Palestinians, you must understand their struggle.

Fouad Twal, - who would become Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem in 2008 - acknowledged in several interviews that many Christian voters, angered by the inflexibility, corruption of the old Palestinian parties and the failure to fulfill promises to create a State of Palestine, contributed to Hamas's political triumph. After their political triumph, Hamas leaders continue their policy of appeasing gestures and statements towards their "Christian brothers." A few months before the elections, Mahmoud al-Zahar, who later became foreign minister in the Hamas-led government, declared: "It would not be a big surprise if there was a Christian in the Hamas leadership in the future." In February 2006, when the Gaza Strip and the West Bank were also ravaged by armed groups who threatened anti-Western revenge for the Mohammad Threatening cartoons, Mahmoud al-Zahar visited the Catholic church in Gaza and promised journalists that he would place armed Hamas escorts in front of Christian institutions "because you are our brothers and sisters."

DECEMBER 29, 2005

Mayor Victor Batarseh, a practicing Catholic, chose Hamas as his main ally, together with another extremist group called Islamic Jihad.

In April of 2002, guerillas connected with Fatah, under hot pursuit from Israeli troops, occupied the basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem, and – a lesser-known fact – other convents and Christian institutions in the city. The crisis developed before the eyes of the world, and ended with the liberation of the basilica. The leaders of the uprising were transferred to Gaza, and to a few European countries.

Hamas quickly stepped into the vacuum that was created. It won the favor of a large part of the population of Bethlehem, creating initiatives for health care, the care of orphans, union protection for workers, and fighting corruption. Future mayor Victor Batarseh, 71 years old, a doctor who had once been a militant in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, allied himself with Hamas and against the Fatah party, in view of the municipal elections in May of 2005.

AUGUST 9, 2006

A majority of 55% agreed that Hamas should not change its position regarding the destruction of Israel. Even 29% of the Christian Palestinians share this view.

The war in Lebanon has increased support for Hizbullah, with an overwhelming majority of 97% voicing their backing with the Shiite group. This position, according to the poll, is also held by 95% of the Christians.

Most Palestinians no longer see Israel as a peace partner. About 75% of those polled said they do not believe there is a peace partner for the Palestinians in Israel, as opposed to 71% who said that Israel does have a partner on the Palestinian side. Among Palestinian Christians, 63% also do not believe that the Palestinians have a peace partner in Israel.

MARCH 11, 2007

Some prominent Christians praise the Hamas leadership for allowing the Christian community its religious freedom and conducting itself in a more honorable fashion than the previous government did.

“The Christians are happier now, with Hamas, than in the period before,” said Jeries Khoury, the Christian director of Al Liqa, an institute for religious studies. “They are respected. Of course people are still leaving, but Hamas, or ‘the Muslims,’ are the last reason for that.”

"All occupied peoples have to fight for freeing their lands. Freeing your occupied land is an internationally legitimate right... When an F-16 targeted the home of Shaikh Salah Shehadi and killed about 18 civilians, children and women among them, they called that a security operation. But when Palestinians carry out an operation in which civilians are hurt or killed, they call it a terrorist act. I prefer that both sides leave civilians aside."
-- Hosam al-Taweel, Christian candidate running on the electoral ticket of Hamas in Gaza January 25, 2006

You posted some info that is 15 yrs old, obo... that is related to the election of Hamas.

And Hamas does not allow Christianity., because This is an offense to "allah", and the Quran'.

According to Islams 2 major religious documents.. the Quran', and the Hadith, ... if you are not Islamic, you are an "infidel".

There is nothing else...

If you went to IRAN, and fell in love with a Religious Iranian Girl, whose Family is "Sharia Law", = ISLAM , and they found out, you are a Christian......

They will try to kill you, and they will murder their Daughter in the street, because she "shamed the family".
They will wrap her, tie her up in a bed sheet, and set her on fire with Gas and Matches.
Thats a fact, that CNN and BIDEN and MSNBC, and TIC-TOP, forgot to tell you.

Welcome To : Islam a "religion of peace".

So, you dont know what you are talking about.. and it seems that "Tic-Toc" has your understanding under its control.

Here is what i can tell you for you to know.

Hamas just killed 4 more Israeli's in the last 24 hrs.
And I can tell you that Biden, is under extreme pressure by His party and his Voters to stop giving Israel any aid, any help, any Iron Dome Refill, and any Weaponry.
So, in that case... if Biden betrays Israel completely..... then Israel will fight to continue to exist, even as their bullets run out, and their Iron Dome is all used up.
They will fight these Islamic DEVIL< till death, even if they have to fight them with rocks, knives, and fists.

Believe it.

God Bless Israel.

Yes, because I said "It wasn't just Muslim Palestinians that elected Hamas. Hamas also had the support of many Christians and they wouldn't have been able to win as many seats as the did without that Christian support," to which you replied "nonsense."

How else was I going to show you that Hamas had the support of Christians in an election that was held in 2006 without going back and finding articles from that period in time?

And Hamas does not allow Christianity., because This is an offense to "allah", and the Quran'.
If what you say is true, how are Christians in the Gaza Strip able to celebrate Christmas every year by lighting a tree in the public square? Why are there churches in Gaza and Christians allowed to worship openly and freely there?

Here's a video of Christians gathered for the lighting of a Christmas tree in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip in 2022.

And here's a video of Christians openly celebrating Palm Sunday in Gaza just six months before the terrorist attack on Israel in October.

The reason i say that "christians supporting Hamas" is "nonsense" is because Hamas is a Terrorist Organization, who is a puppet of Iran.
This was not just discovered Oct 7, 2024 @JosephZ
And in fact, when this '2006, election was taking place, Israel was trying to block Hamas members... by detaining them...

So, " so called orthodox christains supporting a terrorist group"..is not proven by the Videos.

I wonder how they feel about Hamas butchering 1400 Jews, including cutting up Jewish babies and putting some of them in ovens, still alive, and turning the Heat to "HIGH".
They did this to remind Israel to remember the "Holocaust".
These same Hamas, sexually mutilated a lot of Jewish Girls, and some Jewish Males.

So, the only reason that Hamas would let this CHURCH situation exist is for the purpose of Propaganda., so that makes it VOID.

What would be interesting to find out, is how many of these people in these "orthodox Christians" Videos, were used by Hamas as "human shields" in the last 7 months, and are now dead.

And what would be the most interesting thing to find out is how many of these "Orthodox Christians" are glad that Hamas murdered so many Jews and Hope that all the rest of the Jews are murdered as well.

Did they VOTE For that, @JosephZ ?

Would you?

Perhaps you can supply us with a Video of How these particular "orthodox Christians". (whatever that is)..... feel about what their "elected Hamas" did to over 1400 Jews,...

Post that VIDEO, if you have time, and you wont have to find one that is 15 yrs old, as you did with some of this other junk. @JosephZ

So, i want to ask you a few questions...

When were you saved?

Why were you saved?

Who saved you?

How were you saved. ?

And what were you saved from?

If you had a better undstanding of the situation in the Palestinian territories, you would know why Christians supported Hamas in the 2006 election. Here is a quote from one of the articles I shared; "many Christian voters, angered by the inflexibility, corruption of the old Palestinian parties and the failure to fulfill promises to create a State of Palestine, contributed to Hamas's political triumph."

" so called orthodox christains supporting a terrorist group"..is not proven by the Videos.
The videos were to disprove your claim that "Hamas does not allow Christianity, because this is an offense to "allah" and the Quran." As for Christians supporting terrorist groups, not only have they supported them, they have also founded and led terrorist groups that have carried out some of the most horrific attacks in Israel's history. Before Hamas came along, it was Christian-led terrorist groups that were often making the headlines following attacks against Israel and Israeli interests in other parts of the world.

God gave all this Land to The Jew, and He has not changed His mind.

They funded the carnage. If anyone should cross the border it's them. While I hope for the best I recognize the right thing is far from this entity and wouldn't hasten the Father's judgement nor will bringing them here change it. The sin has reached its full and adding blood on our hands didn't move Him in our favor. If anything we've exacerbated our punishment. To God be the glory.

God gave all this Land to The Jew, and He has not changed His mind.
Not all of the land promised was given to the Jews, only a small portion was.

Abraham, his son Isaac, and his grandson Jacob (Israel) were not Jews. Jews were the descendants of Israel's son Judah and those who belonged to the kingdom of Judah. The Kingdom of Judea covered only a small fraction of the land that makes up the modern state of Israel. If you want to know the boundaries of the land that God specifically gave to the descendants of Judea (the Jews), Joshua 15:1–12 outlines them.

Below is a map that shows the land that belonged to the Kingdom of Judea. It is outlined in red.

The attached photo was published on the Hebrew “Walla” website, which says that it was posted on Twitter as being from Gaza and that a member of Hamas hung the children on the walls of the house so that the occupation army would not bomb it.

The publisher of the photo is Mashhour Qasim from the village of Deir Ballut. He told Watan , “I was playing with the children, who are my sister’s children. I posted the photo on my personal page in 2011, and the children are Osama and Iban, and they are 3 years older than they were.”

Mashhour did not hide his remorse over the exploitation of the image by the Israeli website and said, “If I had thought that they were exploiting the image in this way, I would not have played with the children in this way.”

Qassem said, “I was surprised by the publication of the photo on Israeli websites and the attempt to exploit it on the grounds that it happened in Gaza during a time of war, and that Palestinians could use their children as human.

We’re told that Palestinian maps in schools often show a unified Palestine between the river and the sea, yet Israeli maps, more often than Palestinian ones in fact, don’t show the Green Line...

We’re told that Palestinians are taught in school that the Jewish historical claims to the land, particularly the Temple Mount, don’t really exist, yet in a similar tone, many Israeli children learn that “Palestinians” were only recently invented...

We’re told that Palestinian textbooks distort history, yet a recent State Department study found that many Israeli textbooks do too...

Israeli children also learn to glorify and aspire toward violence, and — surprise, surprise — no one really seems to care.

Everyone already knows about Hamas and the horrific atrocities that took place on October 7th. Hamas is a terrorist group, and it, along with other terrorists and terrorist groups that pose a threat to Israel's peace and security, need to be eradicated.

Don't Believe the Quran., it also teaches that "God has no Son".
Joshua is a book found in the Bible, not the Qur'an. It's also common knowledge that Islam teaches that God has no son and Muslims deny that Jesus is the son of God.

The Current "President" of the "state of Palestine"

This devil put out a video, that was actually online for a while, until UTBE and TWITTER took it down.

What did it show?

Its showed Mahmoud Abbas in a video, wielding a Big Knife, and he was teaching Muslims "the best way to stab a Jew to death"

He then demonstrated that you "come up from behind the OLD JEWISH WOMEN, and stab them in the side of the neck, so that you cut their Carotid Artery, and then they will bleed to death, quickly".

And after he posted this video, in 2017, many Palestinians killed Jews, this way....for months... And it was not long after that that Hamas Rockets barraged Israel, and then Netanyahu took Israeli TANKS to the border, and made them stop".

That is "Gaza Palestinians"... That is ISLAM.

Its of the DEVIL.

And in case some of you want to do some study... you'll find out that the Islamic "Savior" they are trying to bring into the world by causing "worldwide chaos", as the Quran teaches....This Islamic Savior, is the Christian "anti-Christ".

Do the research.

Joshua is a book found in the Bible, not the Qur'an.

I have not mentioned Joshua, or posted anything about Joshua.

I listed the Quran and the Hadith.

Now answer these Questions , @JosephZ .

1.) When were you saved.?

2.) Who saved you.?

3.) What were you saved from.?

4.) Why were you saved ?

5.) How were you saved ?
