Which movies would you stay away from just judging by the trailers alone?

Two films that come to mind are "The Love Guru" with Mike Myers and "Mordecai" with Johnny Depp. Judging from the trailers alone, I would rather not waste my money on these two films. Off topic, is it true that the new "Ghostbusters" trailer was so bad it made people not want to see it? This thread is simply, and obviously, about the importance that trailers have. That is all.

Having seen an action sprinkled documentary on Desmond Doss, knowing that that isn't quite like reading about or hearing this story, the fully dramatized Hacksaw Ridge (trailer) seems a step down. Making a movie out of someone's life and it's miracles seemed to cheapen things and people, but the story itself interested me, and for me has been sufficiently covered already via articles, etc.
