It's nice to be back. A lot has happened since my self-imposed time off, but much is still the same. I may not be as active as I once was, but I'll check in from time to time. I missed you guys.

Back in 2011 or so, I started a thread in CF Singles called "What's on your mind?" It ran for several years, through 103 iterations, before some kind of drama lead to it being closed. While it was down for mod action, another user created a similarly named thread.

Now that the threads can grow much longer, and it doesn't make sense to have numbers after the name, I think it's time to bring back the original.

So, what's on your mind?

When I was ten years old and my favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals, were in the World Series, and it was Sunday afternoon and we had just finished dinner, and I was in the living room watching the game on TV, and the Yankees led, 3-0, and my favorite player, Ken Boyer, came up with the bases loaded and hit a home run, I ran into the kitchen, where the rest of my family was, howling with happiness.
