sorry guys, i got into that habit of calling it out everytime I see one of my orchids start producing a spike, which is a flower stem, which means it's going to flower...
...wooohoooooo....
the one that just spiked is,
Dendrochilum gluemaceum (check spelling though)
it's a bunch of nice tiny white crystaline flowers with an orange core, and apparently, from rumours, the fragrance is the best of all plants...and the rumours speak of people trying hard to replicate or extract the perfume out of it....
Wow...after only 3 months from purchasing that plant at the orchid show....and I have 2 spikes.....
I can't wait!
