Saved by Grace alone. Good works follow as the evidence of faith and for the glory of God.
I agree that we are saved by grace alone.

No mere human could ever atone for Adam's sin. Only God's own son, the one Mediator between God and man, could atone for Adam's sin because only Jesus is both God and Man. No mere man could do a work so perfect which could return mankind to Adam's initial spiritual relationship with God. Adam caused our spiritual separation from God. God's Son Jesus restored our spiritual relationship with God.

It is the Holy Spirit's presence (Spirit of Grace) within us which continues to save us.
Do you believe a person can later forfeit this saving grace either by his own evil works or by neglecting to do the good works that God had prepared beforehand for him to do?

Ephesians 2:8-10 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Yes, God knows it all, and the power and plan for salvation for us is God's work. None are created that God wants to let perish, even though they do wrong God is love, God would give each opportunity. None are with excuse to not realize there is God to come to. While it is God's work there is our response, that we come through the way Christ made possible for restoration to God with repentant faith.
