I would like to pay tribute to a man though I never knew him personally but through television not only a heck of a reporter but a geniune and humble man.
That man's name is David Bloom, whom nearly a year ago while covering the Iraqi War on NBC lost his life to a pulmonary embolism at the way too young age of 39. He was also a loving husband and father of three daughters. I will seek out more information on him but I felt like with his reports and his dirty dark-dirt hair and seems like he hardly showered much less had a wholesome meal, he wanted the US Armed Forces to be the story and that wasn't about him. Be back with a poem I wrote.
