Currently I am reading One Lord - One Faith by Vernon Johnson. It was origionally published in 1929. Johnson was an Anglican priest who was bothered by his denomination's openness to the idea on contraception (I said 1929). Then he read St Theresa of Lisieux He then became a Catholic priest. .There are some excellent chapters using scripture to defend the papacy.
