In Traditional Theology, we have a duty to acknowledge, in a loving manner, those who have lived a life in accord with the principles of Traditional, Liturgical Christian faith. In this respect also, the past few weeks have been difficult, especially for Christians of the Commonwealth, Eastern Orthodox and Anglicans, with the repose of the beloved British Greek Orthodox convert, bishop and scholar Metropolitan Kallistos Ware, and shortly thereafter the repose of HM Queen Elizabeth II.

In these two individuals, I feel as though we have examples of a monastic cleric and a laic with very distinct vocations, in the case of Queen Elizabeth II particularly unique, which offered extreme temptations to veer off the path. In their repose, these Christians appear to have set a splendid example for those of us in Traditional Theology.

Requiescat in Pace, and Memory Eternal.
