Hey friends,

I'm on a quest to gain more intimacy from Scripture, and I figured that perhaps one way to do that is to point out a specific catechism or confession of some kind as a good head start, and commit it to memory. I started on the Westminster Confession, got through the first section on the Holy Scriptures and I'm amazed, though I think I should have more information. The issue though is I don't have a way to narrow one down; I'd do all the reading myself, but I have very little time for that, at least at this point. I know there's several out there, from Westminster to Canons of Dort to the Augsburg Confession, but what could I expect from each? Like I said, I'm looking for one that I can commit to memory.

Whatever advice or suggestions you have, and why, is all good with me. In part I'm not perfectly sure what to search for.
