I had just finished praying for some people who I knew who were sick. When I pray I often pray for people who I have not met who may be going through "stuff", particularly those who may be in hospital or going through tough health issues.

Sometimes the thought enters your mind, "Can you really pray for people you have never met?"

When I sat down, I had a mini revelation, it is almost as if the Holy Spirit opened my eyes slightly. It was like He was saying "I do these things because I love people", I believe He was letting me know "Our heart to help others through prayer, does not go unanswered, because it is out of love we see a need and want to meet it, because God is love He acts".

It is not wrong for God to meet needs.

I was struggling with this recently as I have a bunch of people I pray for who I either haven't seen in a very long while or I haven't met. My question wasn't
"Can you really pray for people you have never met?"
but inwardly I thought I might be doing it in vain due to not being able to see anything. I should have had more faith. This is just the thing I needed, thank you for posting.

Agreed,

Feel pretty certain prayers for others, 'strangers' etc are answered readily by the LORD.
least that's how it feels
