is the United Church of Canada the same as UCC in the USA?

The closest i can find for my denomination on here is UCC. the United Church in Canada is the largest Protestant denomination in the country and many many more are becoming part of the Affirming membership. This seems to be a quiet
forum area...i'd love to talk to UCCers and members of the UC of Canada

Former UCC'er here.....they are very similar. Different congregations have their own spin on how things go during the service...but as far as beliefs and traditions, they are similar.

The United Church of Canada was formed in a merger of several Protestant denominations including the Canadian congregrations of the Congregationalist Church and the Evangelical and Reformed Church. The US congregations of these two denominations merged to form the United Church of Christ. So an American UCC visiting or immigrating to Canada would be at home in the United Church of Canada.
