Well, there’s this which says 60% enrichment but that’s just a plateau-level, so that the world will know that they’d only need a lead-time of a month or two to get bomb-grade stuff, ready to “use”.

The BBC suggests that some of the attacks were launched from Yemen and Iraq. At the end of the day, this was a slow-motion humiliation for Iran as it appears 99% of their missiles/drones did not reach their target. It would have been more effective and cheaper to simply spit in Israel's direction and pray that the flob hit Tel Aviv.

When they were under the JCPOA yes, they were (mostly) dedicated to an “atoms-for-peace” program; they opted to continue to enrich uranium once the USA reneged on its commitments.

If you sit in the shadows plotting the harassment and overthrow of another nation, then you are not an innocent victim. You provoked this. At some point you are going to pay. The Iranian puppeteer has not paid nearly enough for its crimes.

I have argued (here) that ultimately Iran will bring down the entire West.

Over the last few years, comments coming out of both Israel and Lebanon have suggested that the next big war could see the use of WMDs (chemical/biological) against Israel. I'm sure the Israelis will love chemical weapons exploding in their cities. I wonder what the response will be?

Maybe, but it depends on what Israel does. If it does nothing then maybe we're done. But what if it hits back at Iran hard? Then we have room for escalation.

Im not sure that whats smart is what will prevail here. I get a sense that ideological extremism is winning out over pragmatism in the current Israeli govt.
