In a lot of urban areas, flat roof space or balconies are being used a lot to grow things.
Yes i know. Check this out. You can grow some things in rain gutters. If you hang them on a wall it saves much space.

Sounds like you are maximizing space in order to grow stuff!

I have a tiny 2 1/2 acres, past years we raised about 75% of the food we ate along with supplementing 13-25 families weekly food purchases all summer so saving space is a must. :)

Ive never grown potatoes before, but seeing how i have some seed potatoes i think i'll give it a try. Im going to use a trashcan as a container for my crop to grow in. I hear that this method has a high yield crop.

I think I'm going to try doing this. I "accidentally" grew sweet potatoes when I was little, so potatoes are pretty easy to grow.
