A person has been arrested in connection with the crash of an 18-wheeler into a Texas Department of Public Safety building in Brenham, according to law enforcement.
“We believe this was a criminal act,” Washington County Sheriff Otto Hanak told CNN affiliate KHOU on Friday.
The agency said “there are reports of multiple serious injuries,” but has not provided more details on what led to the crash.

At least 16 people were injured Friday when a stolen 18-wheeler crashed into a Texas Department of Public Safety building west of Houston.
Three victims were flown to the hospital in critical condition, DPS added.
No fatalities have been confirmed.

The incident happened Friday, April 12 when 42-year-old Clenard Parker crashed a stolen 18-wheeler into a DPS office in Brenham.[I understand he had been refused a commercial license, so this was likely revenge on the government office.]
