So-to-speak. My husband had a vasectomy 2 1/2 years ago, and we had it reversed last Friday. He is healing well, still sore, but healing well. He is even at work today. And leaves OTR on Sunday.

We did this for his health, because if you don't know, vasectomies are horrible for a man's health. HORRID. In any event, and blessings that come of this reversal will be welcomed.

So I guess I just wanted to put that out there.

Hi, hope you don't mind my posting here (I'm past child-bearing age now anyway), but I wondered why having a vasectomy is bad for a man's health. You've got me worried now, as my husband had one when our 4th child was a year old.

I've never heard that. I have heard tubals are toxic though.
