King Arthur's Knights do hereby invite these members to join them in the quest for the Holy Grail.

This is a perilous quest from which few partake, and fewer return.

The quest to seek out the Holy Grail may take months, years, or eons; no one knows.

Yet it is better to try and fail than never to have tried before.

We therefore beseech the members of this forum to lend their support in this quest.

We note that others have already sent their brave warriors on this quest. We wish them all the best.

However, we would like to reach out to the many who do not support their quests for one reason or another.

If you would support us in our quest, kindly put your name on this roll of honor hereunder, and affirm, "I support the Knights in their quest for the Holy Grail. Take our blessings as a gift, and may He who watches over all guide your steps as you partake on this long and perilous journey."

Tips to help in our quest
1. If you're trying to slay dragans at the arcade, it helps a lot to have a slower computer. Dig out your Pentium 133 if you still have it and it can connect to the internet. You'll notice what a difference it makes. The games will become much easier. Alternatively, if you know how to slow down your 3.2 GHz CPU ... (PM me if you don't know how and you want to help on our quest)
2. When you go over the high score, stop immediately and "lose" the game. This is so that on your next try you won't have to play as long before getting the high score again.
3. Specialize in a certain game. Play it over and over and over again until you know it inside out. Remember that most of the games repeat exactly and follow the same sequence. If you haven't picked one yet, look at the times on the high scores and pick those which are low (less than 300s) to specialize in. Some games require literally hours to get a high score (eg. Simon). Avoid these at all costs. Look at how many times the game has been played. You're more likely to become a champion for games which are less popular for one reason or another.
4. Don't fight with each other over the games. If a fellow dragon-slayer has already claimed a game, move on to another. That will make both your lives much easier. After all, we're all on the same team here.
5. The bank gives interest every week and cannot be touched (deposit or withdraw) during that period. As such, creating one account for each day or the week will ensure that we don't lose out on any interest (ie. Monday's takings are deposited into one specific account and so on).
6. Help spread the word about this thread! Put it in your signature. Post in as many different forums as possible. Post in "high visibility" threads ie. the threads on the first page with the most number of views. You don't know what kind of people will follow you back here.
7. Targets for dragon-slayers
Try to get 5 high scores (5,000 blessings) every day. Resist the temptation to spend an entire day playing the same game over and over again. It's much better to be consistent over the long-run. If you choose your game properly, this should take about 30 - 45 minutes.
8. Don't use the 'bless' option in the option bar. Instead, go to this thread to transfer blessings. I don't want my PM box to be filled with the automated blessings notification. Subscribe to this thread to make it easier to find.

No blessings but want to help?
There are some things you could help:
1. Monitor the other factions' threads and periodically keep us updated of their progress. Some of their blessings may be in the bank so make sure you get the right number.
2. Suggest aracde games that have a relatively low high score/number of times played/total time taken for our dragon-slayers.
3. Publicize this thread in your signature!

King Arthur's Knights,

that's me :)

what do you intend to do with the Holy Grail if you obtain it?

hm...
we haven't thought that far yet.
we'll probably pass it around to whoever contributed and then to whoever wants it.

Why should a person donate Blessings to you over the other groups?

no reason. this is simply for those who feel that they don't want to support any of the other factions.
