The majority of cameras on freeways, street intersections, etc are tied into a policing authority somewhere

I watched a YouTube clip in Virgina of the local police looking into a car from a street intersection camera and seeing a gun on the driver's lap, a police chase took place after

Not only cameras, but liscense plate readers, and facial recognition capabilities also, and San Diego is largely a republican conservative city?

Surveillance city: NYPD can use more than 15,000 cameras to track people using facial recognition in Manhattan, Bronx and Brooklyn

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) has the ability to track people in Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Bronx by running images from 15,280 surveillance cameras into invasive and discriminatory facial recognition software, a new Amnesty International investigation reveals.

Sounds like the theme to the book: 1984. Big brother is watching. Just remember it cost them money to do anything. So are you worth the cost? It would be a waste of their money to watch me. I am not breaking any laws. I think we need to be careful with algorism that monitors what people do on the internet. Also I am sure they monitor the photos on my camera.

The level of surveillance depends on the threat any particular individual poses to the deep state. GPS, microphones, cameras, kill switches can be added to an individual's car. Cell phones can be hacked for location/audio/video. A house can can motion sensors, cameras, microphones. Smart meters for electricity can track which appliances are used and when to track laundry, cooking, bathing etc. a base line usage is first compiled then fed by the smart meter to computers which use algorithms to determine wattage/amperage data to determine probable appliance usage.

This isn't the conspiracy theory board.

The presented subject "Isn't a Conspiracy" as you suggest, it's a present day "Factual Reality"

This thread isn't to promote or deny a "Deep State" exist, however there are many articles and books that clearly state its a present day reality, just as the many that deny it exist and is a conspiracy

So, they can track 330,000,000 Americans more efficiently than I can remember where I just put our flashlight?

If a child of yours goes missing, you might want to hold a ceasefire against surveillance until they get your child back.

After the Boston Marathon bombing, ones did not seem to object that authorities used camera footage to identify the bombers.

What matters is what we allow to go on in our minds . . . where we let our attention be controlled to go. God can guide our attention better than anyone can. So, beware of the conspiracy to keep our attention controlled by anyone less than God through Jesus.

No mind control, just the "Facts" 15,000 cameras with facial recognition technology in New York

These liberal cities could care less about law and order, as criminals are robbing and looting as the political leaders watch without action

Try observing communist red China and their "Millions" of cameras in public and private areas, I'm sure it will be a different tune

These totalitarian governments start the subversion in the name of (This Is For Your Safety) you think everybody is ignorant of the facts, Cuba, Venezuela, China, Vietnam, on and on

1.) Remove free speech, 2.) Right to bear arms, then it's on your knees to the tyrannical leaders

The media can be used to make surveillance bigger or smaller than it really is.

You have named one city in the United States. How are the rest of the 330,000,000 Americans doing?

By the way, you said ones will be bowing to tyrants. Are you saying Jesus will have His people bow to tyrants? I mean, even if ones take over, does Jesus have us bow to Satanic leaders?

There are people living in fear, already, because they are not maturing in God's love >

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment . " (in 1 John 4:18)

And there is a conspiracy of Satan's kingdom, to have people depending on politicians and media campaigning to fight surveillance, in order to avoid fear. People are tricked into depending on controlling circumstances, rather than depending on God, in order to not live in fear!!

The opinion is making all aware of their surroundings, you apparently turn it into a religious rant

Is San Diego desiring to install cameras for surveillance "Yes"

Has New York installed 15,000 cameras for surveillance "Yes" the facts

No need for a religious rant, it's reality and forum participants are being informed

The answer to the title is yes, the question is why and for what purpose. Ad serving? Persecution? Stopping people from running red lights downtown?

As for me, these surveillance programs are old news. I still remember the freeway speed monitoring cameras that the Arizona government unwisely decided to install. This led, of course, to people triggering them wearing a monkey mask and covered license plate, and the guy going 219 MPH in his Lambo in the middle of the night on Phoenix’s Loop 202 freeway. Someone actually took a pickaxe to them and ended up in jail before the government finally had them removed.

In America, people don’t take insanity from the government. We push back against 1984-esque regulations and tell the government to stop when it goes insane. If the government doesn’t have a reason for those cameras, they won’t last very long. We have legal means to push back, and we use them.

It does not. It's an old joke from the singles forum here with @Saucy. He calls himself the "King of CF" so I changed my title to "Queen of Chaos" because he was teasing me over the mod position I had back then. My life is still very chaotic, though.

I'm actually updating my profile to reflect some changes in my life, it might be time to consider changing that title to something else.

This seems like a very good reason not to worry much about being tracked by our government and policing authorities. The simple fact is no humans will ever see what you are doing. It's just more fear for its own sake.

There is a finite amount of video evidence from the misguided January 6th "insurrection". It's nearly three years old yet how many people known to authorities are still walking around free of charges? Two thirds of them? Now try to imagine our inept government poring thru trillions of hours of footage to pin something on you specifically. It's laughable to worry about it.

Your right to privacy is not absolute anyhow. It has merely been interpreted as implied by our Supreme Court in Griswold. From the first, third, fourth, fifth and ninth amendments. The word "privacy" is not even in our constitution unless I'm mistaken. Which is likely why our Supremes said it was implied.
