On Every Corner

Not in a corner, but on every corner,
from high to unlearned, the lofty to leper,
the halt and the lame, some proud: all ready
to earth's salt be, to this very day.

He is Lord, Jesus is Lord!
He opens the door, in dark lights a torch.
He makes sin, the grievous, become almost myth,
displaced as it is by the real Christ within.

Over in a corner, in any corner,
the saints make aware, from secret closets of prayer,
telling the Omniscient, who knows what deliverance
to send in response to hearts in Him ensconced.

He is fast coming, the Savior is coming
back from where He went, to make justice his Tent.
Nations shall tender, resign all their splendor
and gain much more glory from Son's reign overflowing.
