Mark 15 Through 16

Mark 15 through 16

It is perhaps noteworthy that Christ died (understatement), in that we may need to die as well in some or many senses. Perhaps we may need to go to our own Golgotha, whatever level of metaphor (or not) it may be. I notice they railed on him.

I find it would be a challenge for me, to endure the physical pain he did, while having the ability to get out of it so quickly, to not end it myself.

Obviously Christ's success over death is important (understatement) to our ability to trust him to regenerate us. Perhaps Mark 16:14 reflects us not to be unbelieving or hard-hearted. As well Mark 16:15-18 may instruct us, and challenge us, in some ways. Verse 19 is perhaps important, that Christ has the status as sitting on the right hand of God; Lord have mercy that we may do his will. Verse 20 may be a guide for action as well as a guide for assistance from God.
