Here's a random question, does anyone think they spend too much time staring at a PC screen? When I'm on my own or working, it seems to be all I do. Worrying really.

No, not at all. Sometimes I look at the TV instead. Here's a random question, does anyone think they spend too much time staring at a PC screen?
Don't people tut in America? Maybe is an English thing... making a noise with your tongue on the roof of your mouth to show your disapproval of something. Caribbean people tend to do it as well, but with a bit more lip action making it a very different sound.
King Tut (King Tut)
Now when he was a young man

It's been quite a while since I thought of Steve Martin doing this song. Excuuuuuuuuusssse Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
So, for the younger crowd, I present Steve Martin performing King Tut.
Edit: Apparently, you can't embed this video. So, go to You Tube and search on steve martin king tut. (should come up as the top video)
One thing I've noticed, is that what I find funny and what most posters here find funny seems to be 2 completely different things. That video sums it up (sorry!). Comedy for me either has to be either dry, intelligent, observational or if it is going to be offensive, you have to doubly make sure you are funny with it and be self depreciating. Slap stick and stupidity you can only get away with it if it is done in the right context and the scene has been set. Watching that clip on its own I can't imagine how anyone could even raise a smile. Maybe if you noticed some guy doing that act spontaneously on the street making a complete fool of himself, I could laugh. [/grilling over, apologies]
Seconded.
The only funny bit, for me, was the bit with the guitar.
In other news, people who quote Monty Python drive me crazy! The original sketches were fairly decent, but I don't need untalented hacks with stupid fake British accents reciting their favorite Monty Python jokes (which have been repeated to the point of staleness) as if it were their own idea and their own wit on display.
I get what you mean.I love Monty Python. I hate people who quote it.
